Most Common Lead Generation Mistakes

Hi all,

I'm just rewamping an article on my blog, so I'd like some input from you IMs on this topic, if you please;

When you want to sell your product or service, promotion is everything. Consuming over 99% of all online efforts, marketing is the most important part of any business out there. Lead generation is the most important part of any marketing, so why do you think so many online businesses make these mistakes, when it comes to lead generation? Mistakes such as poor planning, not getting decent roi with ads, lack of nurturing, etc.

    Glad to see you are Rewriting the Article , as most online people as you put it don't do lead capture that's more inline with the off liners world.

    You know those pesky sales people who go out and talk to the owners of a business! online we like to capture email address so they can get spammed to death of the latest Guru product.

    By the way nice way to in cress the traffic with the thread by having the link of the article!! just not sure it is allowed might want to check with the mods and not the Warriors on that one.

    It think they do this mistakes because they are not informed well so they are under estimates their budget do not track things properly and rush in to decisions

    Not everybody practices direct response marketing. For some, when they see a squeeze page, they think *scam*. Plus you have to imagine the perception of a large company who's homepage that they bring their expensive prospect to is a squeeze page. It's all about professionalism. That's one reason I believe Google Adwords don't like the kind of squeeze page i make when it comes to lead generation.
