I know there's a great cheap Camtasia alternative for Mac but what about PC?

If I were going to do Windows-based screen recording, I'd look at this one: Screen recording software - BB FlashBack Express, great value screen recorder software I tried the demo a while back and was impressed with it. And it's only $39. And just a note about Mac vs Windows screen recording... I still do MOST of my tutorial videos using Windows, but the difference now is that I run Windows on my MacBook Pro and I use Screenflow (which is only available for the Mac). Since I'm running Windows I could continue to use Camtasia, which I've always liked, but Screenflow just "feels" better. If you have the ability to run Mac OS X and Windows on your computer, check into that -- run your software in Windows, but record it from the "Mac side" of things. Jay Jennings |
