Is it possible to add a multiple tracking codes to a domain url.

Hypothetical Ex. You have the domain name --> "http://youtubemastery.com"

You want to use that domain name to advertise your capture page in your Instagram bio, Twitter bio, and YouTube annotations.

How do you track where traffic is coming from without using a url shortener (is that even possible?) Google analytics?

Thanks

If all you want to see is where traffic is coming from, you can see that in Google Analytics. If you want detailed tracking information and full path information you will need to use dedicated tracking software. GA can do some things and give you some path info, so it just depends on how much you want to know.

I use CPVLab for tracking campaigns. Prosper202 is free tracking software. For either, you need a server though. Or there are hosted solutions such as Voluum and several others. If you are just wanting to see where the traffic is being referred from though, Google Analytics is enough. Also, depending on your autoresponder, it may have GA integration as well.

I use Extreme tracking (since 2008) and love their service.

Paid accounts from $6.25 monthly and FREE if you are willing to display their badge and link on your site.

There are plenty of tracking services but as far as I know all use some form of url shorter or redirects.

They have to be able to "intercept" the clicks and collect the data on them. That's how they work.

One simple way to do what you want would be to create duplicate landing pages with a separate email forms on each. So for instance:
    http://youtubemastery.com/tw
    http://youtubemastery.com/in
    http://youtubemastery.com/yt

That way sign-ups from the various sources would be added to different lists.
