I've been a member here since 2006, was a leecher and account got displaced when switched to new server or whatever awhile back. And I had to make a new one. Is it just me, or are a lot of the "outsourcing people" growing wiser and saying WTF, why would people pay me to have articles written, make backlinks, blah blah blah repetitive tasks done for them. I know i can think of a lot of self serving answers, but then I feel like I'm a plantation owner. " I paid good money for you, know your role and shut the F.U! Seriously, I get mad when I see it on here and some peoples remark to posts. like it's from a training manual. "Look for something easy to answer and leave a bland comment like 'your so right I agree' build a reputation and then you can have trust to monetize these undeserving dogs that dont know how good they have it. Believe me, Im not a hater. I get enthused whenever someone has a success story, everyone should have abundance. But when you send me a friend request on yahoo because its on my profile and ask me to send you the keywords and description for your site, you Can Suck MY WSO! Anybody else feel me? Thank-You, Randal Meirndorf |

I was gonna ask the same thing. I don't really understand what you're trying to say. At first I thought you were complaining about paying for them, and then complaining that you don't pay them enough. Then started talking about how you're not a "plantation owner" and they should take the money and "STFU" I mean... When I read that, I was kinda... I dunno, it offended me. If someone doesn't want money, they don't want money. People in other counties would kill for money but a lot of them don't even know the value of a single penny and don't care if they get paid or not. Most of them will do it free out of the kindness of their heart and some will backstab you. It's just like America... So I don't understand what you're getting at. |

Does anyone know what the hell Randy said? He seems to be mad about something, but I will be damned if I know what it is.

Are you trying to say that people that perform outsourced tasks do not speak English well?

I actually read it four times, so that's at least two minutes I won't get back. But I do think I have an idea of what Randy's trying to say. I believe it goes something like this. Quote:
I've always thought that the best policy about giving free help was to give it only when I'm comfortable and glad to give it and to refuse otherwise. Seems pretty simple. Steve

I have to echo 'what was that all about' and thanks Steve your interpretation makes sense...unlike the OP. There are always going to be people trying to imitate successful people but from my observations the successful people are successful because they stay ahead of the pack either by working hard, trying new things or any one of a thousand different reasons. If you are worried that someone is going to pinch your ideas and overtake you...then I think you have the wrong mentality. A successful person is always coming up with ways to remain successful and rarely stands still waiting for the pack to catch up. And just think how much easier english speaking people have it over non-english speaking people. I cannot image how difficult it must be for people whose first language is not english to make it online and frankly if non-english speaking people make it online they deserve everything they get. Anyway my advice to the OP - if indeed he is complaining about someone working hard with a 'whatever it takes' attitude...don't be scared of competition. |

All I am saying is that it pisses me off, ya I said it, it pisses me off when people come here, can barely speak a word of English and want you to view the source of their crappy website and send you a text file via yahoo, and say tell me what to write. I love helping people, thats the best way to learn in my opiniion. But when you get people that write u saying, plz send back "send seo kyewokrd and dscrpthun," ya i get a little pissed. Im not racist at all but, come on. Join whorior 4um. lol sorry made myself laugh on that one.

Yes Randy, the people here are a little harsh sometimes. Kind of like the way you started this thread, pretty harsh. Pretty direct and to the point.

Hi Ya'll, I ran across this thread at about 2 am and thought the reason I couldn't understand the point was because I was tired. Glad to see others have come in and deciphered the code (thanks Steve). I have to agree with the OP, I too enjoy helping others workout issues they are having getting started in this biz. It can be tough for some people who don't have a natural aptitude for keyword research and some of the stuff those of us with more experience take for granted. Or the technical skills needed to put up a website and get visitors to it. However, it's very frustrating when someone you're trying to help asks you about every little minor detail. It's like they can't seem to think or figure anything out for themselves no matter how clearly you've explained something to them or how much reference material you've referred them to. They end up taking up a great deal of your time and they still don't get it. I guess some people just aren't cut out for this business. Tamara PS-Not everyone speaks English, so perhaps people who don't speak English should put up websites in their own language targeting other people who also speak that language. Just a thought! |

Joking aside though, yeah I can see your point, I'm a newbie at IM, but have excelled in other things and I know it can get frustrating when people ask about every minute detail about things they should be able to figure out on their own. Sometimes it seems like they're trying to get you to do everything for them, rather than take it upon themselves to research and learn on their own. It's hard to understand the perspective of a beginner when you've been doing something for so long it's like second nature.

Its OCD - I swear. Why is it that in IM people suffer from this paralysis by analysis syndrome. When you do a task like make a cup of tea - you never analyse it from a million angles! Nope you just make the cuppa The best advice I can give to any one is Feng Shui just get rid of every ebook you have and have no more than 5-10. this way you dont get pushed from ebook to ebook! When your computer is clean - you feel clean and focused. Same with Bookmarks get rid of em -
