Okay , I just finished my blog and sales page ..... This is my first ever sales page by the way and product... tell me what you think and some suggestions please , thanks

Haha, except for the headache-creating background, I love them. The background has a nice tone to them... EXCEPT... not with all the circles and such.

Everything else is really nice and looks great though.

I'm only attracted to it because I'm a major geek. Comics, games, movies, you name it... Been there. So I like it a lot. Perfect theme in my opinion for people like me.

I like it too, but just needs to be toned down a little, lol. I'm not sure how to keep the design and tone it down. That's a big project :P

Anyway, for promoting, I would say.. Submit it to every search engine you can. Go forum to forum and do the "secret advertising". Like some people you see on this site "please review my site" instead of paying the $20 to advertise their products. (No offense). Use the tiny buttons under your posts for social bookmarking. Furl, de.icio.us, technorati, and digg. Those are usually the best ones.

If you have accounts with social networking sites, like MySpace, Twitter, etc, those are good places to advertise too. Especially when you have LOTS of friends.

I would definitely stick with the theme if you're going to fully advertise. Just like you did on the site. Start the topic with something like "It's a Bird! It's a Plane!" that you used. I really like that, lol.

I have onlywire and can do all the basic free promoting stuff no problem .... But I really never used paid - advertising things like adwords ... how effective is that and what should my daily budget be toward that?

Well, I've never really used adwords. I always used the free ways of advertising. Seems to work just fine =D

Adwords is one of those things that just speeds up the process of your site being found.

I like the way the site looks. Think adwords would be a waste of time. The competition in that market is pretty tough and bid prices are even tougher. I would try ezinearticles or maybe offline traffic to start.

Sales page looks pretty cool but a little cheesy. It also could be longer. It's tempting to go short and to the point, but I dont think that works very well. You have to convince someone to open their wallet and spend 50 bucks. Thats not easy to do. You should have more specifics and testimonials. I wouldn't pay for it the way it is.

Well..I'm a visual guy and I expect graphical explanation with some screen shots on how your ebook might help me.I'm sure that most of the online consumers think the same but it depends.However I love technical based ebooks with proofs and analysis.Might be more persuasive if you add some pics or screen shots.

this is probably a stupid question but can they be fake screen shots and pics? don't many people do that?

you could try adding a couple of "Fast Action Bonuses" related to your ebook's topic?

Noo!! Don't do that.It might backfire if your customers found out that your shots are FAKE!! Why must you fake it? I'm sure that you can come out with a real one.If you're wondering how to add one, just take a picture of your table of contents and show your customer what's awaiting for them in the ebook. Or you're using a particular software to guide the customers on niche research just show it.

I'm positive he wasn't asking how to make a fake screenshot... he was asking why he should provide screenshots when most people do actually fake them? Asking how a screenshot could be proof when a lot of them are total fakes.

Anyway, @buckz, just take some screenshots of your ebook like ebiz suggested. It could look better for other people on this site too =)

What would kick that into gear is some visuals in comic book form.

If you had a few different places with a comic book look like:



I think some shots with your character like that would look pretty cool. Probably like 3 of them....

Maybe telling a story and a frame like a comic book...like above.. sprinkled in...that followed along with the story/plot. Ending with a hard sales pitch.

Guess I might have misunderstood his question then.Just checkout the WSO section and look for products on article marketing,SEO and niche research.Almost most of the products have some sort of screen shots displaying how the author earned $XXXX or the end results of using the product.Why do you think they're doing it?

Because they want to PROOF it!! Certainly it'll help to persuade more customers.

I was thinking that too! I just couldn't figure out how to say it in words! lol Yeah, making the site look like a giant comic book may be really appealing.

Except, now that I think about it... It may also drive people away. Like serious people. They'll look at it and think they ended up on the wrong site. It could be a good idea in a certain area, but I wouldn't go too far with it.

Yeah...your only going to be able to use about 3 of them...and the copy is gonna have to be damn good...
