Hi there warriors.

I'd like to share with fellow people here how to get more EZA views and make sure that your articles enter the most "VIEWED SECTION" easily. Once your article entered that section,it'll get more exposure and also backlinks.

Here's my proof:



3 of my articles entered the "most viewed" section in a particular category easily by using this strategy.

Here's another category that I managed to get top ranking.



So how I did that?
Here's a little secret of mine.
The most important part that you must consider before you submit your articles is the "category".You must choose a category that's easy to get ranked in the "most viewed" section.

Let me show you how to do that.

Step 1:
Let's say you've an article on "how to write good sales letter". Think of related categories that's related to your topic.
Some of the suitable categories to submit your article are:
"advertising","marketing direct", "sales","copywriting".(Feel FREE to think of other categories)





Step 2:
Go to the "most viewed section" of the chosen categories and click on the #15 article.In order to make sure that our articles enter the "most viewed" section, we should win over the #15 article in term of views. I'm going to choose "advertising" and "marketing-direct" to show you how to do it.

The #15 article in the advertising category has 181 views




The #15 article in the marketing-direct category has only 96 views




So compared with the advertising category, marketing direct category is easier to get ranked.Do the research for all the related categories that we've identified above ("advertising","marketing direct", "sales","copywriting")
.Once you're done with your research, choose a category with the lowest number of views for the #15 article

Step 3:
The next thing that you've to do is to try to drive traffic to your articles so that it get more views than the #15 article.

With this strategy, your articles will get:

more views=more backlinks=more clickthrus=more $$$$

This is a great tip. Sometimes we tend to ingore the baics. Thanks for reminding this.

I would like to add something here. The article that enters the "most viewed articles" section appears on all pages under that category. This means if that category has 1000 articles your article title appears on all 1000 pages with BACK LINKS.

If you include your main keyword in the title, this will further force your article on first page of google for that keyword. Don't believe me?

Go right now and check any article in the most viewe in 90 days section. Pick any one article keyword from there and type it in google search box. You'll most probably see it ranking on the first page.

It's all views from whoever finds the article in whatever way.

Well, clearly you can't be totally wrong, like putting an IM article in the fitness category, but once you know what category you are going for, you should tailor your article to be a better match.

Thanks for adding.I didn't even realize it.However if you used yahoo's site explorer to check the backlinks,it'll show zero and sometimes there will be no other ezinearticles linking our main article. Our aim is to get maximum exposure to the articles, so entering the "most viewed" section is probably the best.

However if you used yahoo's site explorer to check the backlinks,it'll show zero and sometimes there will be no other ezinearticles linking our main article.

There are thousands of articles pointing to your article from the same category if it lands in the "most viewed in 90 days" section.

Do this to find out.

1) Goto Yahoo.com
2) Type the normal link:url command (in this case url of the article at EZA, without http://)
3) Click on Web Search
4) Yahoo! will redirect you to Yahoo! Site explorer and directly show you Inlinks. There are thousands pointing to your article from EZA from the same category.

I just now checkd one article from a category under the "most viewed in 90 days" section and it's got more than 5000 inbound links. For some reason the Yahoo! site explorer is not directly showing inlnks. But it's working with articles at goarticles.com
under "Most requested articles"

Instead of checking your backlinks at Yahoo! site explorer check them at normal Yahoo! homepage.

Fantastic info - thanks I did this with the top viewed article in a niche I'm in and only 9 results came back. This article has 13,000+ views since late May, I'm amazed that it has such a little amount of backlinks. Hopefully I can in time match those view figures though

I would like to add one more thing here. How do you get your article in the "most viewed in 90 days" section. so that you get backlinks from all other articles in that category.

As per the research by OP the last article in advertising category had only 181 views. You can beat this easily using this.

1) Write the article
2) Submit it to EZA
3) Wait till it gets approved
4) Now send this article link to your list
5) A list of 1000 subscribers can easily get your article in " "most viewed in 90 days" section in less than 24 hours.

6) What if you don't have a list?
7) Post it on twitter and start collecting followers.
8) In a very short time you'll see your article in "most viewed in 90 days" section
9) The twitter idea probably won't work in al niches. But would like someone to experiment and post here.

The next thing that you've to do is to try to drive traffic to your articles so that it get more views than the #15 article.

keep in mind that the number of views listed is the total number of views and not the number of views for the last 90 days. So even when the number is quite high, but the article a few years old, it should be possible to beat it.

If the article is a few years old, it would not be in the Most Viewed Articles (90 days) .

If you want to use a little bit of blackhat, you can be in the Most Viewed Articles easily and it will cost you just a few bucks.

From past experiences if you articles are in the Most Viewed Articles it does not mean that there will be a flood of clickthroughs. It will still depend on your contents and your resource box.

That is very true.

Important-

Some people are saying that this is a nice SEO tip, but..

landing your article in "most viewed in 90 days" section doesn't guarantee that it will rank on first page of google. The above mentioned tip only takes your article in most viewed section, this does not mean that it will rank hight at google. This is because all the backlinks are from EZA itself which google may not consider as valid backlinks.

Actually the other way round is true. The articles in the "most viewed in 90 days section" are origially ranking high at google (for a number of reasons) and because of the organic traffic, their page views have increased dramatically to push them in the "most viewed in 90 days section".

However it would be a very interesting experiment to try this and see whether the article ranks high or not after it ends up in the "most viewed in 90 days section" (due to backlinks) using the above mentioned strategy.

I could easily get 100 hits to any of my articles using this traffic site.

I'm not sure what that is, but it's against the EZA T & C to use traffic exchanges and such to drive traffic to your articles.

2) It's not just having the most views which counts. Even if your article is the most viewed article on the whole site, you're not going to get any traffic unless your resource box is awesome. Ideally, you should have a bit about yourself, then a call to action and a link to your website. Don't just send them to a sales page - treat it like Twitter, in the sense that you should be giving them more free stuff (maybe an opt-in page?). I use this strategy, and it works amazingly.

3) For every article you write, you should do at LEAST 10 minutes keyword research before you write it. Concentrate on the long tail keywords (3-4 words). This way, you'll get highly ranked in organic search, as I can guarantee that most of your competitors aren't doing this. All of the "100 views a month" long tail keywords add up pretty fast

a variation of this is going into the strategy guide that I'm working on. getting into the 'most viewed' category means backlinks from all the other articles in that category. Internal backlinks, mind you, but still, they add value.

I do it slightly differently but same strategy.

It's against the rules. But if you go it stealthly you should not have any problem. I do notice that some of them are using it and as a experiment I make a report to EZA but they never take any action and I only receive a standard reply.

As with anything on the internet if you want to do a bit of blackhat make sure it is not too obvious.

Good way to get more exposure for your articles, and at the same time getting it rank well in search engines as well, because of the page views, which will in turn increase your website page rankings too, because the article is link back to your website.
