Blog posts - Commentluv vs Alexa

Hi
I spend quite a bit of time posting blog comments. To give myself the best change of getting visitors should I go for Commentluv-enabled sites - because as I understand I get a do-follow link back to my site? Or should I concentrate on sites with a high page rank and a low Alexa number?

      Stop trying to gimmick the Google algorithm and concentrate on human beings. Spend your time adding meaningful comments to posts closely related to the link you want to drop, not which ones use a certain plugin or artificial rating.

      Say you are promoting a dating site. Much better to leave a value-adding comment on a site for singles than trying to drop a link on a high-Alexa-rating, Commentluv-enabled mommy blog about toilet training.

      On second thought, keep on keeping on. The more data big G has to work with regarding people trying to gimmick the results, the easier and faster they'll be able to weed out the sites doing the deed...

        Alexa rating means nothing. It's based on sites that have the Alexa toolbar installed which is a very small proportion of all sites. Don't fall for the garbage you read online from people that are clueless.
