Benefits Of Blog Mentions... ?

Hey everyone, i am fairly new to the online marketing scene and was hoping someone could explain the benefits of blog mentions for my website, thankyou.

    The big benefit is getting a link back to your site from an established, authority blog.

    The link will get traffic as the blog visitors will check out your site from the link based on their trust in the blog owners authority and recommendation.

    In addition you would get some SEO benefit as Google sees a legitimate, authority backlink to your site. A single quality backlink can outweigh 100's of crap backlinks.

    This assumes that the mention is on an authority blog and the mention includes a link back to your website.

    I know a lot of people would make a big deal of LINKED blog mentions or backlinks but did you know that even UNLINKED blog mentions can help you?

    Look up citations.

    Considering how fast Google is evolving, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that citations will play a bigger role in the future.

    Regardless of what you do, make sure you build a SOLID ONLINE BRAND
