G'day everysir

Few weeks ago i've been adviced to join a website called HaschOcean ( Bitcoin Cloud mining ) and start investing on it but i really know nothing about it, I mean is it a SCAM or not ? I'm really interested into Bitcoin Cloud mining since i heard it's too profitable, If HashOcean was a SCAM, is there any website that is similar to it but more trusful, popular and/or profitable ? but first let me hear what you gonna say about HashOean

Sorry for my bad english.

Do some research on it. There are scam sites out there that rate things like this for you in several categories and post it publicly.

Google it and you may get more information about it. Some scams could be exposed online if you did not hear about it in your life.

  • Bitcoin hashing, or mining, itself is a real business but some companies that claim to teach you how to do it could very well be a scam. Making money this way depends on your monthly costs, how much Bitcoin you can actually mine, along with the spot price of BTC. I did this myself but ended up losing money in the end because the price of BTC against the $USD fell drastically during my time doing it. I did not use the service the OP is talking about so have to do your own research on that. But it also seems like you should do more research on Bitcoin mining in general. There are a lot of companies out there like you mentioned right now so be careful which one you choose.

Bitcoin mining has evolved to where it requires custom asic mining hardware, which is all presold ahead of availability for thousands of dollars vs hundreds or tens. And as soon as you viable hardware, the difficulty ratches up and you're behind so you have to buy new hardware. So it's hard to predict "difficulty" vs "your capacity" vs "global capacity" vs "BTC exchange rates, making very hard to say how much BTC you are going get for your investment. LOTS of variables in there.

Honestly, if it was as easy to sell as it is to buy, then you'd be better off trading it like a FX instrument. But it's not. it's a lot harder to sell than to buy, which also serves a major warning to anyone who thinks they want invest.

And mining anything other bitcoin is pretty much a scam... the alternative currencies are easy to invent (which counts against them) and without widespread adoption, they're like printing your own "500 Abdo dollar" notes. Interesting and fun, but you can't buy a slice of bread with it, let alone a loaf, with even a whole wheelbarrow full.
