Are Warriors Different To IMers At Other Forums?

I've been a member here for a long time now and I've met some really cool people here that are both friends and business partners.

Despite some of the forum trolls that pass through here, I still believe this place is different to every other IM forum on the Internet and I consider warriors differently to random IMers on other forums.

Is it just me? am I just naive or do other warriors feel the same way?

    No Andy,

it's not just you - I keep meaning to spread my wings and participate elsewhere, but the community here is tight. With the added features of this new forum, avatars, rep, etc. I can only see it getting tighter.

There is a sense of giving here that you don't experience anywhere else.

    Kindest regards,
    Karl.

I'm going to qualify my answer.

The TRUE Warriors are the best. I'm talking about the ones who come here
regularly and really go out of their way to make this place the great one
        that it is.

There is good and bad anywhere. We have seen our share of bad eggs who
have passed through these doors...some of which were here a long time.

But for the most part, yes, I feel closer to the people here than anywhere
else, even the ones who sometimes tell me that I'm an ass, because let's
        face it, sometimes I am.

But there isn't a Warrior here who I wouldn't do what I could to help out of
a tough spot if it was in my power to do so.

So in that sense Andy, yes, I agree.

THAT is one of the things that makes this place special.

People who really care about you will tell you the bad and the good rather than just pat you on the back while thinking something different.

Hi Andy, this place is very different. It doesn't indulge "kiddie scripters" too much, but doesn't push genuine newbies out in the cold. It isn't a "warez" forum, but nor is it so strict that people feel stifled.

The bad people come and go, but there are lot of really great warriors who I learned loads from.

I agree with Steven, that I have respect for those who are congratulatory and those who criticise, rarely do I find people saying something without justification on the Warrior Forum.

Spend some time on some of the other forums (which will remain nameless) and you will come running back...

The forum can be tough at times. But one thing I know is that Warriors will FIGHT FOR YOU! If you come here and need help, or someone rip off your stuff or you are in any trouble Warriors will fight for you. (Did I say that before.)

It's a unique community for sure.

Steven's post sums it all up very nicely for me. I occasionally call on other forums to see what is hapenning there but I visit here at least 2 times per day.

People here genuinely wish to help. On the occasions I have needed help it has been offered within what felt like only seconds.

yes we get a few call in here occasionally but they either shape up or get shipped out and that is down to what used to be the mods and is now the membership. And as a membership we are very strong.

Do you know of any other Marketing forum that you can ask a question and get 10 answers or more back in under 1 hour almost anytime of the day? LOL

I think that pretty much sums it up. People are here to help others and and have no problem doing it.

Like Jamie stated...the energy here is incredible compared to all the forums I have been too. I do read and post things at digitalpoint, associateprograms, Tony Blake's forum...
I think Tony's posts are often insightful and he has a hell of a sense of humor at times lol...So I enjoy reading over there too.

But I still spend most of my time here and...I find it funny because I never spent this much time on a forum before. So if people can hold my interest on a forum as much as this one does...something must be going right!

Did they make you wear protective headgear?
They discussed it but decided it wasn't sufficient. They went with making everyone else wear full body armour.

But that wasn't sufficient, so they decided I would be sent to go and live on planet earth.

The name "Warrior" itself really brands well to make people feel like the "tribe". "Digital Point Tribe" doesn't sound quite the same.

This forum has been a social networking group for so many Internet Marketers before the whole movement even started out.

We are the Warrior Tribe here and the Chief being Allen himself.

I participate in several forums, however the WF gets most of my attention.

If you want to keep up on Internet Marketing trends this is the place to be to get the inside scoop if you monitor and take action.

Theres been many sucessful marketers born and raised here. Some flew out of the nest but the foundations for many were all right here.

This forum is much better and it comes down to a philosophical difference. Other forums seem to have members that are looking how to make chump change, where everyone here is looking to make big bucks. A world of difference.

    Andy

No Andy, it's not just you.

Some new commers (I won't call them newbies! - I absolutely abhor that word, anyway, continuing on, some new commers) won't know what a troll is, they won't know what forum good manners are, and they will still be pointed here by their slave masters.

This forum was always different, has always been different and will always remain different.
It is unique, it always evolves and it more than likely will survive long past you, I, or Allen

There are always plenty of new warriors passing through, but the long term warriors remain, give, and grow and ...... well, yep! I consider warriors differently to random IMers on other forums.

All the warriors I have met are REAL PEOPLE!

    Regards,

    Janet

It is absolutely different than other places. Is it just you, Andy? Nope. But, you are a prime example of what it's about as evidenced in...

    This other post

Yet, you're a straight shooter too. Which, in it's own way, is more generous than mollycoddling and sugar-coating everything.

Anyone here can have a bad day, or be a little cranky, but that's the exception (barring a few select members). It's a great place to be, and the new features add to the Warrior Mystique.

Networking, friends, rep points...all of it.

A little off topic, but what makes the new forum so amazing is that we all have a chance to look at how we present ourselves. Can we do it better? Can we be more helpful? Can we add real value? You can bet I'm not alone in trying to answer 'yes' to each of those.

I will take this a step further. When I do actually goto other forums, including my own, running into a member whose name you recognize from the Warrior Forum is like finding gold. It's like you belong to a secret fraternity or something.

So not only are members special here, but you already have sort of a virtual bond when you meet at other places.

            Another Cool Feature

Basically, you can click on the number after each result and see exactly who voted for what. Very handy.

I don't know of any other forum, marketing or otherwise, that is quite like the Warrior forum. This place has helped so many people, including me, in so many ways that it's impossible to calculate the true value.

Most people who haven't been here but a couple years have no clue as to the true power of what goes on here or did in the past.

Despite tantrums and bad days and a bad deal every once in a while, there is NO place like this. Whether members visit elsewhere or not, this is almost like hallowed ground and deservedly so.
