Back in 2014 Teespring was huge.
Now i don`t see any WSOs about Teesring.
Is it harder to market Teespring products on Facebook?

It's harder than it was at the beginning, thanks to a lot of people (many on this forum) breaking TOS and selling WSOs teaching others to do so. But it's not dead of course. It takes testing like anything else.

    You are right on.

Everything goes up and down, however, you can always get results as people leave on to the next shiny object.

Teespring won't die until people don't wear Tshirt. It's harder

I have seen people on other forums selling methods, which turn out to be setting up your Teespring Accounts and Selling T-Shirts on Facebook. I think that everyone knows about this now, so the market is saturated. It could still be possible but much, much harder than before. I personally would not want to waste my time, money, and effort on it. There are many other ways to make money online.

I doubt it. When it first came out it was trending so was the whole t shirt thing. Things have moved more in a straight line now but no people are still making good money and even more money today than ever with T spring. Just go see what others are making.

    Supply and demand.

I don't think t shirts are going anywhere soon

It is not dead. It is neither harder nor easier than it ever was.

The people with the skills required to earn money selling
T-shirts will go on earning money selling T-shirts. The people
who bought a WSO that told them it was painless and easy
have found out they don't know how to do it and have moved
on. The WSO sellers have run out of marks and have moved on.

Kinda the way it works with every idea and product.

I definitely agree with you here. This is exactly what I was thinking about when looking at how this teespring idea started. Just a bunch of marketers that saw an idea worth monetizing.

Teespring (and others) are alive and well.

It's definitely not dead, but you do need someone to fine tune your social marketing strategy to put your merch in front of more targeted leads/prospective buyers. Too many people just tried spamming ads in front of unrelated masses and called it a failure when they weren't a millionaire after a week.

I still have successful campaigns on Teespring! But I must admit that it's harder to make sales now compared to a year ago. Probably due to changes in Facebook ads performance as well.

It's not dead, just a little more saturated and harder. I just spoke with someone who is still killing it with Teespring.. but he did admit, it is harder to find a successful campaign than before

The hype around Teespring stopped so this means it is the right moment to start with it. Sounds weird but acting against the trend is often very profitable. All the newbies and get-rich-quick guys will have stopped, leaving behind only the big boys, which means enough space for you if you choose a niche that doesn't collide with theirs.

Is Snail Mail , Email Makeitng, and SEO Dead ?

Of course not. For those who wish to work hard and keep their focus it is far from dead.

With TS, you really have to run a dozen or more campaigns before you find that one winner. And just let that Winner "run"

Teespring is for sure harder, much harder then it was like years ago, almost everyone is trying to do, there's much competition and so on and on. If you want to start I recommend starting with at least 1000$ , but remember that you can lose this 1000$
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[10484934].message }}
    • Yes you are right. I just lost my $1000 but I can still spare another $1000. I have learned a lot and I'm enjoying it. Won't be giving up yet

I ran a campaign with Teespring not too long ago. Although it wasn't that successful, it was still a great bit of PR.

Mind you, it's going to be hard to sell t-shirts no matter what if you're in a particularly dry and uninteresting niche.

Teespring is definitely dead for those who can't make it work for them.

And it's very much alive for those who can still reap rewards from it.

      How profound and insightful lol

Like anything , TS has become saturated but there will always be a number of Marketers who reap huge rewards with it.

It definitely can be a numbers game. Some of the biggest winners in it usually have a half dozen or more losing campaigns before they find that one that succeeds. And then they let the winners ride.

And cut their losers quickly !!

    Is Teespring dead?

I remember when Corey Rudl said "email is down". Effectively meaning that email marketing is essentially... dead. That was YEARS ago. However somehow, it is email marketing that drives 99% of my sales.

So is Teespring dead? How good is your marketing? Is your marketing dead?

I'm still doing good with my teespring campaigns. You just have to consistently find a new niche to sell your tshirt designs since most niches get saturated very fast.

Market is over very saturated right now. Like every one and their brother has a T-shirt up. For example, I have one awesome T-shirt with thousands of views. However, no sales - not even one. Cut the price. Yeah, we can't give em away. It is getting harder to make money every year. Perhaps, things can improve in a warm summer.

Everyone needs T-Shirts and apparel friend. You just have to stuff it in their face and say now you buy. It can't die something people need right? It's the ideas that are dead + the promotion.

This takes a lot of testing to get good at. It also helps to be a great graphics designer with an eye for t shirt designs. The key is to test with ads on several designs and the scale up the designs that sells the best

    oversaturated, no way.

There is a guy on FB doing about 10k in sales a week.

How does he do this? Gets on trends, like GOP, KIM KARDASHIAN in birthday suit, and hillary and goes nuts.

If you get on hot trends, people will BUY BUY BUY

Teespring allows users to place certain devices (tracking pixels, etc) on their teespring site. This allows individuals to know which campaigns their conversions are coming from, and therefor where they should allocate most of their marketing funds.

Teespring is not dead but it will get harder for them too. Merch by Amazon is getting more serious and it's targeting people who like t-shirts...

As far as marketing on Facebook is concerned it is getting harder but it's still a great way to market.

Tshirt Business is Hot. its the easiest in my opinion you just need to have designs. Its better to sell on your own than platforms like tee spring more profitable that way. I do have tshirt businesses that need no input from your self apart from marketing the whole system then works on its own and you just take profits. Maybe if interested contact me. Thanks

The well is drying up now that they allow individuals to create their own shirts and buy just one for under $20 (that includes shipping).
Teespring is now competing with its own sales reps / content creators.
I have made over 50 designs, spent $250 on ads, and all I get are likes cause people steal my idea, then go a make their own and buy it for less on teespring. Most $ I made on a campaign was $70. I get about $5 here and $5 there now. We all need to move on to something better. Invest your money elsewhere.
