Blog with one specific product vs blog with many products

I have many products to sell (Affiliate marketing)

I am only going to use blogger since I know that I would not be able to make a huge amount using a Wordpress blog.I would not be able to spend hosting charges and domain charges on it.Why? Because I am dead broke. Also,I believe that a wordpress blog might not be necessary for my business.

So I guess,it would be better if I could use a blogger blog with a domain name(I think domain name have a lot to do with Search Engine Optimization or would a blog like xxxx.blogpot.com would do the job?)

A blog with one product(Air conditioner) or a blog with many products(Air conditioner and bicyle and so on).Which would be better to gain organic traffic?

I know its not that easy to get organic traffic but from what I have researched,if many people enter in a blog, its ranking in google might improve(I have figured out a way to redirect unique buyers to my blog)

So the questions are
1,One specific product vs many products in a single blog
2,Is there any domain services which offer free domains?Any idea how to select the least expensive domain?
3,Would I get organic traffic if I get more visitors to the blog?
4,Which are the tools to know the ranking in google and bing?Alexa?I need to check if the ranks are improving.
5,Which is the best way to monetize a blog other than affiliate links, adsense? Is there any service which will convert if one person enters the blog? Some video services?
6,Is the page loading time of blogger themes better than custom themes which look better? Is blogger theme enough? If blogger theme is enough, should I select dynamic views?

If the products are all related you can do many on a blog. IE: If you are going into air conditioners you could do reviews on all different types of air conditioners as well as things that might be needed to install or service those.

2,Is there any domain services which offer free domains?Any idea how to select the least expensive domain?
Let me google that for you

3,Would I get organic traffic if I get more visitors to the blog?
This is kinda hard to answer.Going to depend on too many factors.

4,Which are the tools to know the ranking in google and bing?Alexa?I need to check if the ranks are improving.
If you are doing a blogger blog just link into google analytics.

5,Which is the best way to monetize a blog other than affiliate links, adsense?

The way a site is monetized is partly dependent on what the niche is. The number of ways you monetize it should be scrutinized.

For example, if I have an affiliate product on the page that is going to make me $10 a sale and I can get 2 of those sales a week VS some adsense on the same page that is only going to give me 5 cents a click and my traffic to the page is only 10 visitors a day, I want people getting the affiliate product and not to be sidetracked by the adsense on the page.

People need some direction on where you want them to go.

Is there any service which will convert if one person enters the blog? Some video services?
Not sure of what you are asking here.

6,Is the page loading time of blogger themes better than custom themes which look better? Is blogger theme enough? If blogger theme is enough, should I select dynamic views?
Too many factors. This is something that needs to be personally tested.

      IMHO...

If you're aspiring to earn a bit of money in affiliate marketing, spend a bit of money. You'll make it back numerous times anyway.

Look for a reliable, affordable web host. I would say Host Gator since I've been using them for well over a decade but lately my wordpress blogs have been getting random database connection errors and so have other people I know. Find an affordable yet reliable web host.

Secondly, install word press and OWN your platform and content. I've used blogger before. But nothing is better than having the content on your own Wordpress platform. You own it. While, yes, you technically own content you publish on blogger, you're relying on a third party service. Anything can happen and there's a platform risk if bloggers business model were ever to change in the future.

Thirdly, buy a domain. They're cheap nowadays and many hosts even offer specials if you host with them. When I started IM domains were like $70 every two years I think... Now I've got hundreds of domains renewing at $15 a piece. If you're going to make affiliate money, spend a bit of money. You'll make it back.

And as far as multiple products or one product, I'd focus on promoting products related to the blog topic. Don't be a Walmart. Be niche. If you're promoting bicycles, blog about bicycles, e.g. Reviews, buying tips, etc. and make sure you promote a niche that is actually profitable where you have a good chance of earning sales.

Lastly, to touch on Jill's reply, yes, guide your visitors to buy affiliate product and perhaps consider making your own product. I've tried the Adsense route. And while it did earn thousands in $ from my earlier blogs... it doesn't compare to affiliate earnings. Pennies on impressions and clicks doesn't compare to tens of thousands in affiliate sales every month.

You need to spend money in your business

Blogging for money is a business

If you don't invest money in it you won't feel you have skin in the game

It would be too easy for you to mentally quit

Treat it like a business and it will have a higher likelihood of earning money like one.
