Ok, for the benefit of newbies who get told that selling eBooks via Adwords/article marketing is the only way to make money online, or those of us looking to expand our income streams and overall businesses, this thread is designed to highlight different business models that can be applied online...

I'll kick this one off...

1.Traffic > Build List via free report > pitch digital products as affiliate
2.Traffic > Build list via free report > sell your own digital product with affiliate backend product promotions later on
3.Traffic > Content site > monetize with adsense

(that gets some of the obvious ones out the way, now it's YOUR turn!)

Nice add, product ownership and building a list off a front end affiliate program is a smart model too.

Hi guys

Here's one to the offline market, quite simple for those into action sports:

If a local surfshop/skate store does not have a ecommerce solution, get a meeting with owners.

Tell them you will build the ecommerce website for free, host it, seo'd it, advertise it online, etc etc in exchange of 50% of pure profit from ALL online sales.

The owners have to advertise the eshop in cards, bags, flyers, etc etc.

Did this last year with a local surfshop and it goes really well. There's minor updates twice a month and a cool income every 6 months.

Real easy and you can take this into another level with different shops.

Just think outside the box and you will find some other options for this one.

Love it Fernando! I'd summarize this model as such:

Partner traffic > Your asset (website) > Split commissions

It's basically a JV deal which you can also do online. Find someone with existing traffic, offer them something for free which will make them money, and in exchange for doing that, they send you the buyers and split the profits of all sales made.

It SOUNDS like an affiliate program, but it's not...because what you are doing is offering an individual solution to ONE business, and asking them for their unique traffic source in return.

Buy an existing site with good traffic and poor monetization. Fix the monetization problem (as well as continue to increase traffic) and either...

A) Keep it, pocket the profits, and repeat the process

B) Sell it, pocket the profits, repeat the process, ALSO get paid to teach the process if that floats your boat.
