Hi everyone.
My partner and I sell an ebook that gives advice on diet, lifestyle, and supplementation. We wrote it from personal experience, and we have no professional qualifications. We sell it through an LLC.
We are worried that someone might follow the advice in the book when its not appropriate, and have some health issues.
I have spoken to a couple of agents and it seems that insurers won't look at this risk.
Do we even need insurance? Our lawyer created disclaimers for the website and the ebook. And we are selling it through an LLC that does not have any retained earnings. The only thing that worries me is if someone managed to sue us as the company owners, but I'm not sure if that's even possible.
Any thoughts?
