trying to succeed on teespring

Hello.
I just saw some posts related with Teespring and that some of you are very successful.
I started with Teespring 1 month ago and I already spent aprox $100 on Facebook Ads.
The thing is that i won't give up on this and I want to try and try and try until I become a pro in Teespring and Make some real money.

The problem is that I am very alone on this, and I really would like to grow with someone or someone to teach me. At least someone who I can chat with about Teespring.

Someone in my same situation or good teacher?

I actually had some campaigns with my own designs, made by fiverr designers.

Although I know little about Teespring, I could totally understand your situation. Wish you good luck!

As someone mentioned before, FB ads is all about testing and tweaking your audience to obtain the best CPC (cost per click) rate and seeing which demographics are responding the best to each design. We would also recommend establishing a Facebook page within your target niche and starting to create a community that you can sell (not spam) to. Then you know you are broadcasting your designs to more qualified leads.

You can test Facebook all you want but if your designs are crap they will not sell. Too much weight is given to generating traffic to your campaign. If you are not creative or if you do not have someone to do the creative side you will be doomed to low returns. If you are good at Facebook ads you can get low cpc but that does not guarantee sales.

I'm same to you, i send 50 usd for 3 failed campain but no sale at all. But gradually i feel that beside the ideas, the designing also very important to attract visitor.
I say that because the the recent ideas is worse than the last one, but the designing is more beautiful, and the result is it attract more visitor..

  • I stopped using Teespring months ago and I started using Amazon Merch where I earn without ads, simply with targeted t-shirt description and keywords on title. Right now is closed and you can't join it anymore but the first who entered are taking full advantage. In my private group there's people who sold thousands of t-shirts, sometimes even without ads at all like me.

I did a product about it that sold 850+ copies called "New T-Shrit Revolution", and there are many people successful in selling t-shirts with less problems than on Teespring. Try to join it, but don't know if or when they will accept new members.

    Thanks and see you soon,
    Alessandro

I actually was one of the first people that joined to Merch by amazon and I had 1 sale with it.
I really think that merch by amazon is a very good platform to make some money but I really don't think it has the same potential as Teespring. I mean that there are people that earn +50k monthly with Teespring while in merch by amazon you sell tshirts like... 3 Tshirts one day... 4 Tshirts other day..

anyways the key is focus in one thing and try and try until you succed.

I really would like to earn also some extra cash with Amazon but I don't have ideas of what tshirts can I make to sell.

Could you give me some advice?

Personally I don't think there is one perfect recipe to success in T-Shirt business. I have seen very simple designs (basically no graphics, just a couple of words in black and white) sell hundreds more than shirts designed by professional designers. I would credit that to good targeting and marketing.

I believe that this is all trial and error, but once you hit a potentially big target market, you need to capitalise it as much as possible.

I agree with the others in that ads won't do it all for you if your designs aren't top-notch. I've seen a lot of designs recently that have typos or aren't generally appealing to the eye. Consider using your FB page as a platform to poll your users to vote between two variations of a design and see what they respond better to.

I actually have some good ideas and I think they could work but I really need more targeting practice and training because that is where all the magic happens.

I would appreciate if I had a mentor and he could give me some targeting advice.
I was looking at some coaching options, but most of them are super expensive and I can't afford pay that much for them.

Is there anyone here with good targeting experience that could teach a little? We can negotiate money if is it necessary.

It's all about designs that appeal to people's passions and then getting in front of those same people with great designs - they will buy from you.

Watch what the top sellers are doing and take a clue from their marketing.

Even though we're talking T-shirts here, this is Marketing101 . . . find a demand in the marketplace and offer the solution that will meet the demand.

The problem is people think it is so easy to just stick up a teespring campaign spend money on ads and then make a lot of money. This will not happen.

Facebook ads take time, optimization and a good testing budget and so many people are doing teespring, you really need to have an advantage and market VERY WELL!!

About targeting, you should use "Narrow further" function in Power Editor.
It's really helpful bc it help you to combine the audience who have many group of interests. And the one who have many interests related to you target is more potential...
Ex: If you target people who like Dachschund dogs, you can target 2 combined group:
        - Group 1: interests related to Dachchund dogs
        - Group 2: interests related to dog care, pet care, food for pet...
By this way, the audience you target more likely have dog, not only a "like", and those audience is better.

Here are some JVzoo products that could help (I am not an affiliate of any of these): https://www.jvzoo.com/products?csrf_...t&cat=&subcat=

Personally, I had a good relationship with spreadshirt.com before I began to concentrate more on other projects. You can get paid for your designs on the main site anytime someone wants to add it to a shirt or mug, etc. and you can get your own store with a design-your-own module and you can use your designs or the designs of others in the network to sell at the prices you decide. Your buyers are guided through the Spreadshirt payment system and they handle shipping, returns, etc. as well.
