Suggestions on what to do with the domain CompleteDiet?

Hey,

I hope this is in the correct forum, I wasn't sure where to post it.

I have a domain that I want to develop and I have a few ideas, but I don't know what exactly to do with it..

I was hoping to get some more suggestions on what it could be used for if anyone has any ideas

The domain is CompleteDiet.com

I think it could be used for a few different options but I am struggling on what to go with.

I would appreciate any input on what other people think

Thanks for any help!

I'l admit that it is a nice domain name you have their.

However remember that you cant garuntee success with domain names alone, (unless of course you had paydayloans.com) lol.

For me I would turn it into a blog where I review different diets on Clickbank and build an email list with it. I would try to make sales from organic and social traffic, but also send an email out every week promoting a Clickbank diet such as "Diet Of The Week" kind of thing.

Good luck. Hopefully you can turn 2016 into a profitable year with your new domain name

Luke's suggestion is a good one.

What business model do you want to use?

If you want to build a list in the diet/weight loss niche you could create a squeeze page with a 'freebie' incentive then use a follow-up autoresponder series to promote a diet/weight loss product.

If you like writing and have knowledge in the niche you could create a blog to generate content and then promote that content through advertising or social networking. Monetize with ads/affiliate/cpa offers. Even with a blog you should still work on building a list.

You could create a portal type site that provides information and resources in the niche. Similar to a blog but less content creation necessary. Curate great diet/health content or charge other businesses in the niche to be promoted by your portal.

It's rally a matter of where your experience lies.

If you are good at networking and partnering with other matrketers you could work some JV arrangement or partnership.

If you just want to make quick cash, you could sell the domain itself and not develop it at all. Everybody and their brother thinks they own a great domain, but in this case that actually is a pretty good one and you could make money flipping it.

    Great ideas

Building a mailing list could be a very good option.

What type of freebie would you suggest?

    Thanks for the replies

The freebie should be something that helps promote the paid product you are selling or promoting.

If the paid product is a paid weight loss program your freebie could be something like "10 Secret Tips for Easy Weight Loss" with the tips related to what the program teaches.

Say the product is a Paleo Lifestyle paid member site. The freebie could be 10 easy paleo recipes. Something like that.

You want people to read your freebie and become more inclined to want the paid product.

The freebie could be "Diet Secrets for 2016" with the latest and most exciting being the new diet program you are promoting.

What I would do is purchase plr products on dieting and rewrite then offer as a membership site.

If I were you, I'd invest a few bucks on a squeeze page that gives away a small 6,000- to 10,000-word booklet that gets people excited regarding the concept of a 'complete' diet.

The whole point of the freebie is to first, get people to sign up for our mailing list which then sends them an email-based seminar on the complete diet.

The second point behind the squeeze page is to give away the book which would continuously work to get the reader excited about a main book or video series that would constitute the main product.

The key here is to build credibility and I honestly think that you would make more money with the domain completediet.com developing it as a product instead of simply selling the domain outright.
