Default Hve you ever contacted your clickbank customers through email

Hi friends,

I wonder how many affiliates or vendors contacted their customers through email.Clickbank provides the email in the analytics.I am very much hesitated to contact them because I don't know whether they liked it or not(Especially health related products).Yesterday I send an email to two of my customers about their opinion about the product but didn't get any reply yet.Could you please share your thoughts?

No. I am a vendor and I have never done that. I was under the impression clickbank didn't like that, not sure though. Anyway my thank you pages are squeeze pages so I get their email address after they order if they enter it. I also give them a direct to download page link below the opt in form in case they don't want to have to opt in to get their product.

if you are the owner of the product you can do it - but if you are the affiliate to the product then I would not recommend you do it. The vendor more times than not will be doing this, and the customer will wonder who you are and on a "moody day" may end up reporting you

I also collect email address and name on my thank you page (as a CB vendor). I have setup an autoresponder that goes out to the customers to give them value-added information about the product and how to use it, how to get good at the skills I teach, etc. There is no promotional stuff in the emails either, just value. That should cement the relationship. Then, I have a list of BUYERS, who trust me, and eventually when I do have something to recommend I can do so. But I'm patient and I'm certainly not about to turn this into a promotion-per-week type of list. The primary purpose of emailing my customers is to make sure they are happy and feel supported.
