Wp help needed for commenting

Hello,

I am wondering if there is a way to comment on your wordpress blog but use create a different user profile? In other words I want to make responses back to comments, but I don't want my real name and picture showing up.

This is probably pretty basic, but not for me. Any suggestions?

Sure, that's easy. You can either:

1.) Make sure your blog allows users to register.
2.) Log out as admin
3.) Register as a new user with a different name
4.) Comment as that user

or

1.) Make sure IP addresses don't show up on your blog
2.) Log out as admin
3.) Make a comment on a post
4.) Log back in as admin and approve it.

Just logout as the admin. Then complete the comment form like anyone else that visits your site.

Another suggestion aside ones suggested above is that you can use anyother computer which you haven't logged as the admin and comment via that computer....

I want to use an alias, but my blog automatically adds my picture. I also want to be the admin, does that make sense? Dont know how to fix this, I tried logging out, but my mug showed up anyways--

I believe your gravatar is attached to your email ID - set up a second gravatar and that might solve your problem.

Just log out and clear your cache and change your IP and create account and do post comment
