An alternative to banner ads and adsense?

Here's a new chrome extension that looks promising as an alternative way to get paid for your content online. I'd like to see something like this take off. What do you think?

That's a great idea but the people behind it really need to mobilize the blogger community so more blog fans become aware of it.

I like the pro-community feel this system has.

interesting, with being a browser extension i take it this for desktop only? Like said, mobile is huge part of traffic and think it create a lot more reach if mobile was possible. interesting concept though as well with bitcoin.

yea, they're leaving a big chunk of traffic on the table if it's only desktop traffic.

Definitely quiet interesting, people are trying to make some moves in 2016 : )

The idea is really unique, although there is a lot of potential, don't quiet think its going to work out. I just think not enough people understands crypto currency yet. Regular people who surf the web don't even know what bit coin is...

Lastly, in my opinion, Bitcoin is way too volatile. Giving someone 0.015 BTC could mean 0.001 in the next month, which i believe destroy the purpose of supporting someone.

Not to mention, sketchy as hell. I investigated BC about a year ago. I couldn't get away fast enough.

T think bitcoin is the better & most convenient option at the moment since the project also open source. Credit cards, PayPal...... these are too away from the concept.

Yea, having a centralized service that can freeze your funds whenever they want is sketchier in my opinion.

There is no such alternative like Google Adsense which pay you a decent amount per click or impression. However you can try native advertising.
