Product Approval Denied

If a vendor denies your request to be approved for their products can it be approved at a later time, say when you have had some sales under your belt? Like 50 sales? can he reverse his denial?

I requested 3 products from 1 vendor and was denied for all three, what should I think of that, I even reached out to him on FB and he also approved me on a friend request. What can I do to get him to approve me since he denied me 3 times? Why would he be so negative to my approach on requesting products to promote for him? Can it be approved by him later?

It seems like something you are fighting for, so have you tried messaging on FB after your friend request was accepted?

You can submit an appealing proposal to the person from there, detailing the specific steps you are going to take to promote and a sales forecast.

There could be multiple reasons for it ,There are some vendors who only like to work with experienced/Big time affiliates and there are some who do not care as long as you are doing your job ,

Yes there is no reason y they wont accept you ,Its been happened to me in the past ,I was rejected by a few ,then ultimately they took me back when i had reached their minimum threshold ,

Keep up the good work Mate,Good things will come

Very few vendors will approve you until you prove you can make sales. Is that why you were denied? There may be other reasons. Vendors usually state their terms for acceptance.

If you had 0 sales when you applied, that's probably the reason. I put up a lot of MRR/PLR products on JVZoo and I have almost 2000 affiliates. You know how many actually promote the products? Around 25 or so.

The point is that 95% of the affiliates who apply to promote products have 0 sales and will probably never make 1 sale. I'm not saying that is the case with the OP, but a lot of vendors realize this and so they set minimum sales requirements to separate the "zeros" from the "heros."

I will give anyone a chance as long as they contact me and tell me how they plan to promote. However, I will not approve anyone for instant commissions until they have at least 50 successful sales.

Another reason why a lot of vendors will not approve anyone they don't know is because affiliate fraud is rampant. The old stolen credit credit card number/instant commissions scam is still alive and well. Basically, a person applies as an affiliate and gets approved for instant commissions. Then they make a bunch of "sales" using stolen credit card numbers. They get paid their commission instantly and then take their stolen money before the real credit card owners realize the fraudulent charges. Once the credit card owners realize the fraud they file a chargeback and the vendor is left on the hook for the refund amount plus a chargeback fee which can sometimes be as much as $20 or more per chargeback.

Those are the main reasons why vendors have become a lot more selective about they who they allow to promote their products.

If you are a new affiliate, however, and you get denied -- don't sweat it. It's usually nothing personal. There are thousands of products to choose from so just keep applying. You will get approved for many of them and then you can build up your sales stats and the problem will be solved.

I would wait a week and then contact him one last time with a clear marketing plan of how you will promote his products. If that doesn't work it is probably time to move on. You don't know his reasons. Maybe he only wants to work with the big boys.

I think the first step would be to get the reason you were denied

Simple.....If he does not want to approve you, look for another product to sell. There are no shortages of them in the world.

Like nicheblogger75 said - there are so many affiliates who sign up and don't even try, it's like, 'what the heck are you signing up for'???

I also think a lot of new affiliates try to sign up to promote a lot of offers at once, and a person can really only do so many promotions effectively in a given week. It's a tough ballgame, and new affiliates usually show up and end up sitting on the bench.

Knowing this makes sellers who have been around awhile a bit wary. There is also the issue where a well-meaning, new affiliate does something stupid like send a bunch of junk traffic to the sales page from Adfly or somewhere, which is a total nightmare for sellers when it happens. It slows down the loading of the page, and ruins the ability to know correct stats. It ends up costing sales rather than making sales.

Right now we have a launch going on and about 100 affiliates signed up, but so far only 10 or so are actually trying to promote. It's a common occurrence that sucks. Lol. But thank goodness for the affiliates that roll up their sleeves and do something.

Yeah, you could contact him and tell him you're not like most new affiliates and you really want to try and promote his product, because you believe in it and... - something like that.

And if they do deny you, which do you think is more likely to give you the answer you seek?

      > Asking the vendor in question, along with a request for steps you can take before reapplying. or

      > Coming to a marketing forum and asking a bunch of strangers who don't know which products, which vendor or why you were denied in the first place?

      (Psst, here's a clue - it's not the second one. )

Maybe it is the time to find other products since you have tried three times.

    Of course it can.

Approach him naturally, explain your situation, tell him your plan for promoting his product etc.

Show the guy you are genuine and not going to rip him off and you should be good.
