YogaPants.com - Awesome domain name, but what should I do with it?

I bought this last year and have been sitting on it.
Mostly focusing on my other sites, but with this good of a domain name, I really think I should do something with it. Affiliate site, or blog with ads. Something!
Only problem is I don't have the time to run a blog. I'd rather put up something that brought a small income while I sit back and let the money roll in.

I am fairly confident that traffic will be there once we optimize but, I need a product or service first.

Ideas?

You can sell both physical and digital products. There are a lot of Yoga-related products. There are clothes, mats, accessories, books, magazines, DVDs for physical products and there are instructional videos, courses, ebooks/magazines for digital products. You can do all of these through affiliate platforms or you could even whitelabel some products or have your own course developed. You could also sell ad space to yoga studios.

You can also turn it into a guy site and get traffic from all those men that like to look at women wearing yoga pants and then put up ads geared to those individuals such as dating ads, pickup line books, etc.

Sell yoga pants. Or, learn how to creating clothing, and create your own yoga pants. Or make a video course on how to create yoga pants. Or just sell the domain. Or get products as an affiliate from major retailers, and promote them on your site. You will need a good content marketing plan too.

Why does it say the domain is selling for $2,250,000?

Who sits on a premium domain for this long. You must have very deep pockets.

If you're smart or rich enough to buy yogapants.com maybe we should be the ones asking you for advice.

But seriously, if you want passive income, why not rent, lease or license the name. I'm sure many upcoming or lightly established yoga clothing companies could be interested with the right approach or marketing.

Selling yoga pants is something we plan on doing in the next couple of years, but my B&M business as well as websites are taking up all of my time.
I'd prefer to launch a digital product or service (affiliate site) just to bring in some cash flow from the domain while we run the current businesses.

If those businesses are taking up all your time then I assume you're making money with it, no? If so, then reinvest some of those profits and hire someone to build and run it for you.

Have a meeting, decide which direction to go in, then let person you hire go with it.

      What's the issue?

If your other businesses are taking all your time and are NOT making you money, then you should probably figure out why before you do anything with the domain...

My mind's too dirty to answer this question

Anyway you can sell more than just yoga pants, anything yoga related is fine. If not, setting up a squeeze page and build a list.

My first thought was promoting a diet or exercise product using pictures of people who should not - ever - wear yoga pants in public. Kind of like those snarky sites making fun of people shopping at Walmart...

You could let the public submit pictures and have an assistant weed out the really raunchy ones (and you would get raunchy ones).

It would appear the domain name is on sale for $2.25M. It might be the best use of time marketing that sale.

Also, if I were the seller, I'd leave off a figure and just invite offers.

My first thought on this was ARE YOU KIDDING ME! YogaPants.com was available LAST YEAR!

The next obvious thing is to go sell it. Approach LuLuLemon or whatever the yoga pants thing is called and sell it to em! Better chance than the powerball!

I feel that monetizing this domain with ads will not be as profitable as selling it. There could be a fashion brand, other domainers or an "adult entertainment" company willing to spend a ton of money. More than a few ads could ever bring.

Seems like you already asked this question

If you still don't know what to do with it. Sell it.

Flippa would be a great platform.

I'm sure you could come up with something "adult" related to utilize with that domain name lol.

We would hire a designer and source fabrics from china or india, and find a build house in the LA fashion district to manufacture the products.

Like Brad said, you should probably sell it......
