Anyone know why my page is breaking down: Daniel Massicotte dot Com - Travian, Goal Setting, ... ?? This morning I did 3 blog posts around 8am. It was normal this afternoon, but now it's all messed up. I've had this problem once before, and I fixed it by deactivating all the plugins and thesis. Anyone know what the real problem is? |

Maybe there's something going wrong with my browser... This site here shows up the same way too: Zango Ad Services Here's a picture of what I see: http://www.danielmassicotte.com/brokenwordpress.jpg |

Both sites working fine here. The screenshot obviously shows that CSS is not being loaded. Clear the browser cache and delete temp files, everything will be fine.

It worked fine for me, in both FireFox and IE. (Nice adaptation of Thesis, BTW). But the appearance in your image is because it's not seeing your CSS files - I don't know what would cause that, but that's what's happening. The positions of the different sponsors in your sponsors panel show up in different locations within the panel in IE from where they do in FireFox. Maybe something to do with this is causing your browser to miss or ignore the CSS link..? Sorry - not that much help, really... Martin. |

Nope. I did both the cach (in Tools > Clear Private Data) and Temp files (Start > Control P.> Internet Options > Browsing history > deleted all). The funny thing is, it was fine early today... it also works fine in Internet Explorer. It's just in FF that it isn't working properly. The wp-admin interface is all messed up like that too. |

Download ccleaner, run it and delete all temp files of firefox, restart your machine and it will work fine then.

I wish! Here's what I've tried so far:
EDIT: Actually, it can't be css since this site: http://adservices.zango.com/ looks like this: http://www.danielmassicotte.com/brokenzango.jpg but IE it looks fine. Arghhh!! I also tried re-installing FF 3.5 & Reboot. |

Turns out the problem is with Adblock Plus. It seems to be blocking the css rules of that site. Maybe I can create some kind of exception. Now I'm seeing ads all over the place... looks like the adv. industry is really hitting weight loss. Hmm, didn't know that. Thank you for the suggestions everyone. I'm going to keep tweaking ABP and FF to see if I can get them both working. Alternatively I suppose I could always go to Lifehacker.com and install a multiple user platform for Firefox so I can have different plugin settings dependin on what I want to do (work, browse net, etc.) since I normally have to turn off ABP in order to view my blog properly. |
