Investment in Consulting

Imagine you started your online business recently and your are acting as a service provider (e. g. flight search, image hoster, file converter, price comparison...). Your knowledge in technical aspects like coding as well as business areas like legal, financial and marketing is profound. Someone invests in your business and tells you to spend at least $ 5k in some kind of a professional consulting. What would you do?

I am currently in that situation and I hope you are going to give me some fresh ideas that I haven't thought about yet.

The difficult thing is that most of the consulting companies are very expensive and are only offering strategic workshops and similar activities for that limited budget. What I obviously want is getting something that results in traffic and conversion.

Hint: For example Link Building Agencies also count as 'consulting'.

    If someone invests into a business, there should be Agreement that outlines all aspects of the investor's relationship with that company. This Shareholders Agreement should be negotiated and signed by the parties before anything happens. If you have an issue like this after the deal is closed, then something is definitely wrong.

    BTW: Your post is not very clear, I am not sure if I fully understand it.

      You would have to really let us know what is going on to get the proper help. Keep in mind everyone is in their own world when it comes to business , working on their own dream. Let us know exactly what you are trying to accomplish and you will get many more helpful replies.
