Hey guys,

I've had a payment come in on August 1st...For some reason my shopping cart system requires me to 'Capture' payments within paypal for it to clear into my account. Now this one transaction for some reason won't capture...it just comes up with the message

"Sorry we cannot complete this transaction, please try later"

I've tried to capture the payment every day since and I get the same message. Other payments have come in since and have worked perfectly. I've emailed Paypal 3 times now and none of their 'advice' has worked. I've tried reauthorizing the payment and I get another "Sorry" message.

Has anyone else had this happen?

    I'm not familiar with that shopping cart set up, but did the person maybe pay with an e-check? Those take 3-5 business days to clear before the funds are available.

    But this sounds more like a shopping cart problem than a Paypal problem? Wish I could be of more help!

      An e-check is what I thought when I read your post, but it would have cleared my now. Possible that funds were unavailable, and it didnt go through.
