ok i want to do two things

sale clickbank products

and build a list....

now based off of your experience which of the following methods is better..

building a small site AKA Squeeze page with minimal text and an opt in form. and market products to the list. as well as making a seperate blog that would be like a review blog or a pre sell blog if you will.

or

should i make one blog that has my opt in form and actual aff links and creatives all on the same blog...

which is better..

I think you'll have a better chance of building a list with a single squeeze page that has one purpose to get the visitor to sign up to your list.

Blogs often have lots to do and look on them and the visitor may not even see your optin form.

In my opinion I'd go with the first option. Hope this helps.

    Why don't you do both?

Have a squeeze page on your site..

    Like:

    blahblah.com

And then have a blog to supplement this on the same domain, but like this:

    blahblah.com/blog

It works great like this, I do it regularly with sites.

    Peace

Yes, do both. It would be a way of split testing. After awhile you will notice which way gets you better results. Then you can focus your marketing efforts on that one.

The best way to sell Clickbank products is to build a list so you can market to them over and over again. Send your traffic to your squeeze page and after they submit their email address send them right through to the clickbank site. If they don't order on that first visit which they probably will not you will be able to follow up with them because you have their email address. Then they can order when they are ready. You may have to email them 7-9 times before they order. If you don't capture their email address how will you follow up with them?

Use article marketing to build your traffic and redirect them to your squeeze page, after confirm, send to your pre-sell or content page.

Provide good email content or follow-up, build relationship and sell!

      or

methods and review blog with updated posts and an opt in...

ahhh see we are getting somewhere, because these are definitely good ways to bypass the google slap...as long as we continue to provide useful content...

Great combination and excellent idea. Selling Clickbank products while building your list. Don't let anyone tell you you'll have to spend a lot of money to do it, because there's a way to do both without having to spend a single dime on advertising or promotion. PM me for details.

ok so here is the final tidbit to this series of questions...

(by the way as usual i hope i am helping not only myself but others as well which is why i put these questions on forums and not just do the research myself !! :p)

ok so lets say i want to promote a clickbank product ..the sales page is nice, the product is nice, the payout is nice....but they have an email opt in form on the front page...

      HOWS DOES THAT WORK??

does that mean all of my leads i send to that page will not count for me unless they buy today?

or if they join this persons mailing list will i still get commission if he makes a sale through his own email marketing...

so to boil this question down.

should i avoid clickbank products that have email subscriptions on their sales copy?

I think I answered this is another thread, but it shouldn't be a problem unless the vendor uses his own hoplink (which is dodgy and rare in my experience). With everything else equal, you'll make more money promoting a page with an opt in box than without one, because the vendor has 60 days to make your sale.

With every blog and websites comes different situations. I'd experiment around and see what works best. Maybe do both.
