Default Clickbank Questions

Hello Warriors,

I don't do much with Clickbank other than to help people set up single product delivery, so I'm hoping the CB pros here can help me answer a couple of questions for a client.

1) Can you do multiple subscription levels with Clickbank? For example, I have a Gold subscription but if they don't want that option, I could downgrade to Silver or Bronze. Is that possible with CB or does each level count as a different product that they have to authorize and verify?

2) If you can do multiple levels of a subscription, how can you ensure that the information is delivered to your members via autoresponder? If Joe Bloggs signs up for the Gold level and is subscribed via aWeber, then unsubs after a couple months, is there a way to automatically unsub them from the autoresponder so they don't keep collecting information when they're not a member?

I know I've seen gurus do this sort of thing but not sure if they're using Clickbank or another system. Any input you can give me is extremely appreciated!

Answers:

1. You have to set up each membership level as a "different" product.
2. Right now you have to manually unsub them at AWeber (though I have heard rumors that AWeber is going to offer an API in the future which might fix that problem...)

Yes I believe thats right. As long as clickbank accepts this which I don't recall seeing anyone doing yet but if they do it looks like you will have to set up the different memberships as different products. Like when someone does an upsell and sells that as product #2.

With the additional difference that products #2 and onwards do not need
to be approved.

No, those are for additional accounts not items within an account

Harvey,

Srsly? My bad...possibly in the past this was different or I was doing it wrong? I had a multi-level membership site I sold last year and I was pretty sure I had to pay the $29 fee for the additional "products"? Is it possible I simply set up the products incorrectly?

Your $29 was for purchasing a second account.

Within an account you can have 500 items

That's hilarious! I don't know how I missed that. Well, that's the first mistake I've ever made in 46 years.
