Any tips on how to contact businesses for advice?
I am planning on taking over a welding business. While I have a bachelors in Management and have a welder with over 30 years of experience, I would like to be able to have a good understanding of how to build and expand the business.
My plan is to contact businesses across the country that are not in my area, but areas similar and try and squeeze some advice from their operators. Any tips on how to go about this or maybe point me in a general or precise direction where I can learn proper etiquette if you will on cold calling the companies and asking what sort of things are working for them.
