Hi, I own a 50,000+ list on a hosted solution that is very outdated now, and aWeber will not let me import it without confirming. (my people are french, and the confirmation email converts at 1.5% which is simply nonsense) Do you guys know a reliable email service with great deliverability and tracking, that would allow me to import my subscribers ? |

Tony, Here is my experience and you can take it or leave it. I hope you find it helpful. In 2003 or so I had a 60,000 single-opt-in list at a now defunct list management company. It became necessary for me to move the list and I decided to go with AWeber. Of course I was disappointed I couldn't just load them into the A/R and go. What happened was, initially, very scary: After a series of opt-in suggestions from me (sent from the old provider), I only ended up with 3,500 double opt ins at AWeber. UGH! But what I quickly found was this: I really didn't lose anything. Those 3,500 people represented those people on the OLD list who were responsive to my messages. My income from those people actually went up because AWeber had a much higher delivery rate. My advice: Go with AWeber and double opt in. |

Take a look at iContact. They use to allow this - but would put your list on probabation and watch it like a hawk. At the first sign of too many spam complaints it will be locked, so if you're not worried about complaints this may be the way to go. Also at the 50K level they may have to confirm your account before they allow you to send - which could negate the whole process since one of the questions they ask is 'where did you get your list'. But other than getting a dedicated server and Autoresponse Plus, this may be your only option. good luck, --Jack |

Thank you guys ! I went with iContact and it seems to work perfectly. I'm actually quite impressed by the service, it's incredibly user-friendly. |
