I know this may come out as redundant question. You have people joining and asking question or trying but end up quitting.

I'm going to try IM again..thinking of trying affiliate marketing and using clickbank . From what I read it's pretty much build your list through offering free gifts or info and so on. \

I know there are other ways to make money online like SEO , etc..etc. but for total new person is affiliate the easiest way as an introduction to IM and from there try to specialize in other areas?

Curious to know how others started out .

The easiest way to start out?

Start a blog around a topic you're familiar with, put AdSense up, and start writing your arse off. Then promote it a lil bit, and keep writing month, after month. Before you realize it, you've got a $3k a month site on your hands.

No creative marketing hacks, or special one-off strategies you've gotta pay $7 for, just good old fashioned hard work and dedication.

Sexy? No. Easy to pull off? Absolutely.

I don't think affiliate marketing is an easy way to start making money at all....Same with starting a blog.

If you want to do affiliate marketing, you will gave to gave traffic and/or a list. It takes TIME and EFFORT to have that. I'm not saying someone cannot do it...I have many friends that are making great money with affiliate marketing but it took them a few months to start making a few sales, and in some cases over a year.

Same with a blog. Yes you can make a lot of money, but you need a lot of traffic and to get a lot of traffic it takes a lot of good content and a lot of time.

I know I always repeat the same thing but I truly believe it is true: The easiest way to make money is with Amazon Kindle. You'll start making money after only a few days and you can build a list and a back-end AS YOU MAKE MONEY.

Selling physical products on Amazon is great too, but it is a little bit more advanced and you need to put cash upfront (a minmum of around $500 for inventory). Arbritrage is another technique for Amazon but it require a lot of time and they money is not that great in my opinion.

The two easiest way that I know of to make money online are
      1) Become a freelancer ( You trade your time for money though)
      2)Amazon Kindle

The site is 17 months old, and has 740 articles on it. ~30k daily views is just on that site.

Hard work, and a lot of dedication. Being too dumb to quit can be a blessing sometimes, too.

Sounds like you're still looking for the magic bullet.

    There isn't one.

Figure out what business you want to be in, and go be in it.

You can make just about anything work.

What business do you want to be in?

What problems do you want to solve for people?

Do you want to solve $1.99 problems like getting them a hamburger or a connector cord?

Do you want to solve $5000 problems like helping them go on a dream vacation, or set up a home theater?

Or do you want to solve $250,000 problems like their new home, or business expansion?

Figure out what business you want to be in.

Then come the traffic and conversion requirements.

If you're in the $1.99 business, you need a lot of traffic and a lot of conversions, don't you. Making $0.50 - $1 off each affiliate sale is going to take a lot of sales to add up to a living for you.

If you're in the $250K business, you need some traffic and only a few conversions to make a nice living.

How much traffic and what conversion rate do you need to make a living in the business you've chosen to be in?

Here's where nearly everyone shies away.

They don't want to do math. ANY math--even Grade Three math.

    Addition and subtraction.

Those are all that is required. But that's "too scary" for most people.

    And that is sad.

Because to succeed, you need to understand your numbers. And that means doing basic--really basic--math.

Every time I bring up math in a post, the number of Thanks declines. I find it funny.

Yet that is the "secret", the "magic bullet" you're looking for...

    ...because it dictates your behavior.

See, you don't have a target, so you don't have a plan, so you don't know what to do.

So you grab at any shiny object in sight. How's that worked out for you?

Instead, if you used your brain for ten minutes and figured out a plan, you'd know something like...

...to make $1,000 this month in my market, I need to sell 4 x $500 products at 50% commission...

...and to make 4 sales, I need at least 4,000 visitors...

...so how am I going to get 4,000 visitors? And here we are at the behavior.

Instead of chasing shiny objects, you know you must get this many visitors. So how will you do it? What traffic sources will they come from? Map them out. So much from FB ads, so much from Bing, so much from your blog.

Just about everyone here is throwing unqualified traffic at a wall and hoping something sticks. Terrible. Better than doing nothing, but not a lot better.

(I'm laughing to myself now because some people's brains have actually BLURRED OUT that preceding paragraph because it contained numbers.)

    Get a business.

    Get a plan.

    Work the plan.

Set targets, achieve them, then improve upon them.

    Stop chasing shiny objects.

    Do some very basic math.

Do this and you'll be ahead of nearly all so-called IMers.

^- this man speaks the cold, hard truth.

No replacement for grit, hard work, and following one strategy like your life depends on it.

Luck only has a role in it when you're busting your ass and you stumble on wins you didn't see coming.
