Credit card bill comes in today for my adwords account and it is a record breaker.

Typicaly this would be good news but when I got to investigating, I have found they are over charging me daily for $200-$300 more than I actualy spent.

Their support system is crap and I am spending more in a month than the average man makes in a year, I want to talk to a real person.

Anyone know a phone number to reach them personally???

Lesson:Make sure to always compare your credit card statment to your adwords account statment.

Don't you have an account manager? As soon as you started advertising over a certain level you should have got an intro email from an account manager.

Google did a weird thing to me. I paused my campaigns on the 3rd. Same day they debit £500 from my card, then 2 days later they debit another £500 even though all my campaigns have been paused.

Seems a bit weird, will have to call them and ask why.

I agree, speak to your account manager. Also, check your Adwords account every single day, it is part of my daily routine.

I called and turns out AdWords runs in the same manner as Yahoo Search Marketing almost...

You always have a reserve you are charged for so you account will never reach zero. This is an amount I have been charged but have not spent on marketing (yet).

all very very confusing when you report to have made so much profit but realize half of your profits are sitting in your AdWords account unspent.

I guess the only way around this would be manually toping up the account instead of automatic charges.

At this rate I should have enough Air Miles to travel the world all inclusive every year LOL

Ive had a similiar experience, hence partly the reason why I no longer use PPC. Infact just the other day I logged into my adsense account and they had kindly "skimmed" me $45. For what reason I have no idea.

Not a lot of money, but at $0.06 a click, it sure takes a while to get it back.
