General affiliate marketing question

Hello guys, new to affiliate marketing and I've got a question. I know people recommend do your custom squeeze page if you promote CPA offers, get the email, and then redirect to the offer.
How do you technically do that?
Whenever person clicks submit button his email is going to your getresponse/aweber/whatever and you redirect them to the offer?
Or you do a thank you page and then redirect them in 5-10 seconds?put a direct link the offer?
Thank you in advance.
P.S. doesnt google/bing consider this as a bridge page?

    yup .Maybe First Offer some free stuffs and in the new page which is offering them free stuff,redirect them to the affiliate site.
    or maybe put the affiliate link at the bottom of the page.

      General affiliate marketing answer:

      Go to the source. If you're signed up to a CPA company, consult your affiliate manager. For technical questions (like how to set up your autoresponder), get with the support people for the service you use.

      You will get more authoritative answers than you will here.

    Usually its a good idea to build your own list and then refer them to affiliate offers.

    Promoting a squeeze page with Adwords is really hard, as these are often considered bridge pages.

    You can get around this by having more relevant content on the page in addition to the email sign up form.
