A "silly" question about videos on google 1st page

Hello ppl,i dont wana ask anything about ranking on google or w/e.Today i find out some keywords that ppl search in google and there are many vids on you tube for that keywords,but there is no video on google for it,why is that?Can i try rank a vid put it on google?Note thats its non english,if that make any def.I was thinking make a vid and put some "video keywords" what you think?Why there is no video in first page on google after that keyword have decent searches plus many videos on youtube.Thank you!

    Even though Google favours videos and likes to rank them, it doesnt mean that they will rank a video for every keyword.

    You could certainly rank a video in Google where currently there are no videos, I have done it many times. You need to make your video and description totally relevant to the keyword and you need to do some good quality links to the video too

    Using relevant keywords in your title and description and tags are definitely one of the best ways to start ranking your videos on google.

    This needs to be moved to the seo section. But to answer your question a video needs the same seo as a regular web page would need. you make the video and optimize the tags and description the best you can then build good links to the video and it should rank. I don't see videos getting any special treatment.

    I dunno if I follow along with you.

    If there's not already a video showing for the keywords you want to rank for, maybe Google doesn't want to show a video for that keyword. That's especially true if there are videos ranking for the keyword on YouTube already.

    If you already know that there are a bunch of videos on YouTube for the keyword, but none are displaying in the search results, it's safe to assume you can't rank a video on Google for that keyword.

    It doesn't mean that's absolutely the case, but it's Google giving you an indication of the types of content they want to rank.

    9 times out of 10, with the size of YouTube these days, if there isn't a video ranking for the keyword on the first or second page of the results, it's probably not worth your effort.
