Free offers = automatic opt-in?

When people sign up for a free report, or order a product from you, is that considered an automatic "opt-in"?

Or do you have to disclose to them that they will be receiving future emails and offers too?

What does your gut tell you? If it's telling you that you need to disclose to them that you'll be sending future emails, you have a nice, polite gut.

Make signing up to your list part of the process of getting the free report. Make it as plain as day. Then you won't get any angry "Why you so-and-so" emails and everyone wins.

On a positive note, as long as what you offer for free is of value, you'll get a high conversion rate when you ask for the sign-up. Good way to build a list.

For me - It seems like a fair deal for all

You get something of value for free

They receive you email address to advertise to and maybe some of the future emails will have a new product the rocks

If you do not like this process - get e new email address and direct all of you opt-in email there

    Best Regards
