So if someone like me likes to write and I wanna blog and video,....whats a good way to go? is creating your own content better than promoting?

    Can you clarify? If you write content with the intention of selling a product aren't you still promoting?

    I'm not entirely sure I understand the dilemma....

    What you really need is a coherent plan. What are you doing? Do you have a product that you're trying to sell? A service? You need to figure out how to find influencers and convince them that you are legit so you can break into that market.

    you should blog and make videos about your niche. if you are passionate about it the success will eventually come to you.

    If you are asking if you should start your own blog or post on sites like HubPages, it depends.

    Many people are happy with HubPages and they have been around for years. I personally gave up n them because they require a lot of attention to old articles. Yes, it is nice to update old articles but not when you have 100's.

    I would suggest starting your own blog and keeping all content on it with the exception of doing guest posts on other blogs in your niche. This can get you more readers and start new friendships.

    What you definitely need is a coherent plan for your online efforts whether you are promoting someone else's content or your own. What's your overall strategy? Are you just looking to provide information? Are you marketing an offline product? Are you looking to drive traffic to a website or social media? Are you promoting yourself as the next Justin Bieber?

    Start by offering your skills as Services on Fiverr. At the same time you can start your own blog on Blogger or WordPress and also do YouTube videos. The most important thing is to take action.
