Review page or blog?

After a lot of thought, time, and research I think I've finally come up with my fist niche that will work.

I plan on driving most my traffic to my site thought article marketing and SEO on the articles.

My question is should I drive my traffic from my articles to a blog or to a review/comparison page? I know with a blog I can also SEO it and rank in the serps, but I'm afraid that if I send my traffic to too many pages they will get distracted by somthing and I will lose a sale. But if my traffic gets sent to review/comparison page they might click away because its a sales page. (I know when I see these review pages I know what they are instantly I click away. Maybe its just me becasue I'm educated to the process. Perhaps an average users wont click away instantly?)

I know each has their bennifits and their draw backs. What do you guys/gals mostly use?

    Can't argue with starting either type of site, the blog will allow you to post updated content on a daily basis if you want to and the review site will allow you to make money by offering opinions on products. The blog will be a more time consuming commitment due to the time it takes to come up with content and the review site will need a little less attention.

    According to my experience the best thing is using a squeeze page in the home page of your site. Start to collect email addresses and send informative followup msgs regarding the affiliate product to the subscribers. Most of the visitors do not buy on their first visit.
    If you want to start a blog and attract some seo traffic ,just start a blog on a subdomain..Etc...www.mynichesite.com/blog you can use adsense to moitize it too..

    Collect the names and build your list. Much more money to be made doing it that way.
