I'm always oppose doing article submitting, seo as it's too much work and traffic is hard to come by. I'd been concentrating on PPC/PPV + CPA for a month now and has lost xxx, going 4 digits. Once i mentioned that, people tell me things like without knowing seo, linking etc etc, you are not going to succeed in IM. Is it true? Cause even if i'm not successful in PPC now, i know it will be profitable and it's has nothing got to do with seo, content writing etc. Is it okay for me to concentrate on one area? Regards, ffc |

Hi my ppc is a bit of a joke ive tried it a few times over the past four years and always get my fingers burnt. Its one of those things that you are either good at or you aren't. In the end i have come to the conclusion that there are that many free ways to generate traffic that ppc can be ditched. For example i experimented recently ppc vs twitter and twitter got me the best sales and didnt cost a single penny! kind regards sam x |

Traffic is always a big pain. But for my own experience it will depends on the time and money that you have. Articles Marketing and SEO it's good if you have a lot of time, if you don't have time but have money that's good, because you can outsource your articles creations. SEO is way better than PPC because it will generates tons of traffics without spending a lot of money and making you crazy as hell. |

I agree with mariochase. Can I add a little bit more to that? Article Marketing is relatively economically as you can outsource it (check out getafreelancer.com and post your project in bulk, say 50 articles related to your niche at 2 dollars for a 400-450 word based. I can assure you there's tons of bidders, especially from the phillippines, who're undergrads dying for your job!) Then again, don't just post your articles on ezine.com but on other article based websites as well such as the following: http://www.articalz.com http://www.goarticles.com http://www.articlealley.com http://www.ideamarketers.com http://www.articledashboard.com http://www.searchwarp.com http://www.buzzle.com Hope that helps. |

Article Marketing and SEO in a SAFE bet You can succeed without Articles and SEO. I made a full time living before knew either. However like Mario said you have to look at time and money. I put in A LOT of time to learn the hard way that paid off big time. If you do not care what you are doing and you have time AND want results. Do this. Try a hundred ways. PM Me, I will give you my 100 places to get traffic eBook I am giving away as a bonus with my new product in the sig once its ready (which is one of my top 5 traffic generators and MOST FAVORITE way get easy traffic). Here is what yo do 1. Try 100 things (the # just means a tonne of different things) 2. Track them 3. Focs only on the ones that works let go of what does not work. |

Actually they go hand in hand. If your site is not seo optimized and ranking well, then google penalizes you as a poor quality site, which makes your cost per click much higher. So If you Do seo, backlinking etc you will get some free traffic plus a lower ppc fee. |

Hi, The most important thing of all is for you to find something that you will be comfortable with, something that you can do as a long term strategy. It's OK to concentrate on one area, that will help you stay focused and provide long term benefits. People often ask does article marketing work, does ppc work, does seo work, and so on...If you've heard of it more than once, chances are that it works. The question is: Will it work for you? I mainly concentrate on content creation and SEO because I am good at it. I won't spend my time and money on PPC, for example, because it simply isn't my thing. I do not have a mind for testing, tweaking and tracking ![]() I hope you take some time and evaluate your situation. I'm sure you'll make the best decision for yourself and your business! Cheers, Josip Barbaric |
