Did you question the service that provided their results?

No one here has any clue what you did really or what they did really.

But if you paid for something, you should certainly mention you had a different result and ask them why that would be.

If the service is here on the forum and it is faulty for some reason, this needs to be brought to the attention of the powers that be.

    Hi there,

I would suggest you to stick to Google Keywords Planner, in spite of different results within Google itself. No need to purchase any tool for doing keyword research because there is nothing better than Google Adwords.

    Thanks,

I've done keyword research using the same tool at different times and gotten different results.

As others have said, we have no clue what you did or paid for, and when each research was done. Lots of things can change results, even a few hours apart.

Another factor is geography. I know search results can change by where the searcher lives (or at least, searches from), so that could be another factor.

Best bet is to go back to the service provider and have a conversation.

Thanks all of you, I've had a conversation with my servicer, he said the competition showed on Google keyword tool was Adwards competition, not SEO competition, meanwhile, his research results were all from Google itself. If so, I guess he is correct and reliable.

    Keyword Planner all day long!

You should do some research on that keyword tool you bought - and see if others are having the same issue. The Google Keyword Planner is not likely to give you inaccurate data - so I would trust them more than any software.
