Default Charging VAT for my products

Hi Warriors,

This one is for any warriors that sell electronic products.
How do you go about charging customers in the EU tax.

All of the training products I've bought so far tell you how to put up websites, collect affiliate sales, produce and sell your own products but I've not come across one that broach the subject of taxation and laws.

I currently in the process of putting together two products
A training membership site and a software product.

For the training website I have Amember and Paypal as the payment setup.
For the product, I'll be launching it through Clickbank

Now it would seem that Clickbank take care of all the necessary EU V.A.T charges and just deducts it automatically but what about paypal.

I can't see anything on their website or here? If this has been answered already I don't mind a link to the post. I just simply can't find it myself.

Thanks

A

I'm assuming - although I might well be wrong, that PayPal will add the applicable VAT to the customer's purchase.

Whenever I re-charge my Skype balance for example and pay via PayPal, the dreaded VAT is applied automatically.

Never undersell yourself - SEO is a skill clients are prepared to pay big money for
