Paid Traffic - Sources

Ok,

I have a high ROI campaign that's been working rather well with free traffic, but I've pretty much reached a peak with the free stuff, and I'm looking into the paid traffic route.

A few questions:

1. Last time I used Adwords was in 06, using Perry Marshalls stuff. I can dig up the E-Book from then, but is there anything new I need to be aware of? Happy to purchase training if there are major changes in strategy other than the control panel etc... If not, I'll brush up on the book I purchased and ramp it up again.

2. Yahoo:

Never used Yahoo much in the past. Maybe 8 - 10.00 per day in 06... Anything else I'd need to study to learn other than the traditional "have a high conversion landing page, with strong call to action, irresistible offer, and follow up drip campaigns?"

Again, if there are courses I should be studying, happy to.

Final part of question - Beyond the traditional PPC stuff, where else can I find great traffic? I've heard there are a lot of resources out there, but I have no experience in the banner ad buys, and pay per view ad buys etc...

Is there a high quality course or expert on the topic? My campaign has a high enough ROI to where I'd love to quadruple my traffic with paid sources - Not too worried about the budget. But I'm new to this paid traffic arena, and eager to learn. Courses? Books? Experts?

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

    1. Yes, a lot of things have changed. I think Perry has released a new version of his ebook, you might want to check that or (blatant self promotion) just view the free video lessons in my sig that explain quite a lot too.

2.I never used yahoo that much as I found it was easier to play with google a little and squeeze more traffic out of it than play with yahoo.

If you want big traffic and you have a decent budget, check out some info on media buying. You can get massive amounts of traffic from here. You might want to check out the media buying academy (has nothing to do with me) for info on that.

look at the amazon paid advertising too.

I've seen Jim Edwards recommended it in a webinar.

There is a good WSO right now from Kenneth Reardon about paid traffic that
goes into MANY different sources that aren't usually covered. It was $15
    when I bought it.
