How Do You Bypass Salespage With Opt-in?

I am somewhat technically challenged...

With all the recent discussions about affiliate products with opt-ins, I am wondering how you can technically send your traffic to your own capture/pre sell page, and then
directly to the merchant order form to bypass the opt in.

I have seen the concept of doing this discussed...but I have no idea
how to actually do it so that I would get credit for the sale.

How can this be done?
