How to Monetize This Game Guides Blog?

Hi
We have Gameslopedy.com – Provides Ultimate Resource of PC Games for game crash fixes, tutorials etc.

Currently we have 2 monetization systems:
- Google Adsense
- Paypal
- Popads

But they are not good, so what do you suggest for us for that website?

Which alternative ads can be used?

    You might want to consider CPA programs

    I'd use intermediate pages to condition the traffic for more optimal conversion rates though

    It really depends, how many page views do you get per month?

    I have a videogame guide niche and once I posted the same question than you and I got really good feedback, please answer your question and I will come with some good ideas =)

      Currently 12k (unique) in a month but it is growing.

      We cant sale any membership on it.
      Popads gives very little amount.

    Are people actually paying for your service? It seems like a lot of your information can be found in the steam forum/ other free forums and stuff to get this information for free.

    Why don't you use affiliate links for the games? G2A.com and how all those companies are called. That's the most obvious monetization method for your site.

      But you cant get fix infos on that forums easily and quickly, we give quick fixes and all of the guides are grouped.

        Well from experience, Google search "groups" it for me and the steam forums are actually pretty quick to give me a fix.(idk if everyone is as resourceful as me). You have to remember that a lot of PC gamers love to save money, one of many reasons I don't own a console anymore.

        I'm not bashing on your system, I went to your site and was like this looks interesting, then I click the link and it is locked, and was immediately turned off to your site.

        Why should someone pay $10 for something that is easily googled?
        Why should someone pay this sketchy site they never heard of that may have bad content after you pay? (I saw the free trial, but didn't bother to try it)

        I also saw that you were looking into blackhat methods, so are your 12k unique hits actually legit?

        If you are getting 12k legit unique visits and nobody is paying for a subscription. I am guessing that they too are not staying very long on the page.

          I understand your complaints and I agree with you about them. But we will give it a try for 2 months. Also trying to find out another ways of giving a good service to customers. But if we dont get any sale for 2 months we will disable the locking system and/or get another free cpa lockers (dont know which ones good or not though).

          Yes it has 7 day free trial so they can easily register and get the content then cancel their membership.

          All of the traffic are legit by google. A lot of gamers searching contents like that on google then come to our gameslopedy site. But the only working monetization is google at now.

            Paying websites are not working very well nowadays. With the exception of professional forums.

            And anyway these professional forums begin by giving free content and then, if the visitor wants more, they offer paying premium content.

            Meditate a little the following quote: "Give visitors a great experience. Then money will come naturally."
