I'm bumping this thread. This seems to be a pretty hot product category but most of what is out there is either hella expensive, not properly supported, or downright junk.

Would love to hear from others, too.

I can tell you that ContentCurationPlugin.com is not even worth it as it has not been updated or supported well (or at all) for a while now. Walt has great ideas for product but doesn't seem to have the attention span, capital and/or interest in making them/keeping them fully functional and/or properly supported. It just yet another "guinea pig/I need seed money" IM product.

Using software to automate content curation is not a good idea and it is not even known as, if done automatically, content curation instead it is then said to be content aggregation - which is not liked by search engines.

So before you use a plugin or software, make sure you know what you are doing.

Does this automatically spin articles? Not familiar with it, but I can tell you right now that that is a BAD idea.

No, but you can get other plugins that do, and with the right spinner in the right hands...not a bad idea. But with the wrong spinner in the wrong hands (or even the right spinner in the wrong hands) you're right, bad idea.

Just to clarify, content curation means that you pull snippets of articles or even pictures or videos from other sites and you cite the source of the content, including a link to said content so that not only does your visitor know where it's from, but they can click the link to read the full article (in the case of an article). I've been doing this by hand for over 2 years. I need automation. Good automation.

Don't do this. Either write unique content yourself or hire a pro. Google is placing greater importance on quality and original content. You can't fool Google as easily as you used to.

OK, I see this is the wrong forum for this type of discussion. Should a known better when I saw this thread go un-replied to.

      Thanks anyway. Off to BHW...

"Content curation is the process of sorting through the vast amounts of content on the web and presenting it in a meaningful and organized way around a specific theme." - Content Curation Primer | Beth

Sometimes 'Content Curation' is confused with badly spun articles that aim to trick google and eventually fail the SEO goal.

Anyway, I'm looking for a tool like Content Curation or Kudani (I have an old software version of Kudani for the MAC v0.1.14) but just started looking, anyone happy with either of these or other software?

If you have multiple blogs, manual content curation this is not an option.

I don't want to change this thread, but, I feel, that it is better to content curation by hand, rather than use software or a plugin.

At least this is the way I do it, I feel it gives me more control of what I do.

However, this is just me, and am I sure other people will have different ways of doing things.
