Default No Arms In The Air = No Sweaty Armpits

We all know of linkbait on the internet but I love when you see it in the Newspaper too.

Today I was reading my faithful newspaper "The Sun".

It was actually amazing to start noticing something so obvious in a national paper.

Thorpe Park (a theme park) were banning anyone from raising their arm's in the air so no-one would have to put up with the smell of their arm-pits.

Funnily enough they mentioned that tomorrow is going to be a whopping 28degress, the rides are soo amazing that no wonder people sweat and standing in the queue the people there would be sweating from fear just from queueing up.

Super link bait?

It attracts people to the idea of going to Thorpe Theme park? Surely it's only link bait as it was released the day before the actual ban would take place.

Also it's suggestive that you should indeed know that Thorpe Theme park exists and that you should maybe go visit and stand in the queue sweating with fear, then go on a rollercoaster ride that makes you sweat even more. Maybe you might even go on the day they are doing the ban :-)

Park. Thorpe Park. It's England's biggest amusement park. Here's the story.

Ah. I've never heard the name before. Thanks for editing the post so I know what's going on now. It's the dumb American in me

Not sure how this is copywriting though.
