Info roduct / ClickBank

Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum but I have been reading it for a while. Got a question for all the affiliate CB crowd. I have two info products I'm thinking about creating. They are in two separate areas. 1 = chronic pain / backpain and how I solved it 2 = business and technology related. Should I create the products and put them on clickbank? I'm guessing there wont be much interest from affiliates to new products? Any tips on how I should go about it or any experience in the genres? Is CB still worth it or should I go it alone? I'd appreciate the input from real players.

Thanks in advance

Darko

You are correct, you will not get a swarm of traffic around your new product on CB magically.

What you want to do is begin to build an audience (so you at least have a small list of 500-1000 subscribers to launch to, who can provide you reviews and testimonials in advance of your launch)

Then you want to reach out and connect with at least 20 different potential affiliate partners - you can find them either via Google search for authority sites in your niche or assuming you have competitors, find their CB code for their product and do a Google search to see the partners that are promoting them...contact them and offer to provide them additional commissions, extra tools, a review copy, etc... prior to your launch. Of the 20 you contact, you will get 1-5 that will promote for you (perhaps more if you are really lucky/good at tracking them down).

What you really want to work on in the first 1-2 months of launch is getting sales (which will impact popularity score on CB) and affiliates to build your affiliate reputation.

In the beginning, you want to be very proactive in both finding partners/affiliates and in making sure your sales page converts so you can keep them promoting for you

I agree with jbsmith's advice. While you won't sell a lot just because you're on CB, you will at least get some visibility.

Many different options and Clickbank is one of them. For the backpain product Clickbank would be a good fit. For business and technology related I would consider JVZoo instead. To get started make a hit list of affiliates. Find affiliates promoting products similar to yours. Reach out to them and be honest. Let them know that you have a quality product and its new to the market.

Its a numbers game but if your product is quality you will get some affiliates to start promoting for you. You can then approach other affiliates with so and so promoted for me and it converted at X and made X. etc.

If you are planning on doing ebooks, Amazon will let you add your eBook for free but every sale they will get a percentage. But Amazon is a great way to get exposure for eBooks.
