Hi, so I've recently discovered that Wordpress tends to have quite a few issues with Affiliate links, specifically Amazon associate links. I would like to know what are some of the top blog hosts that are best for promoting affiliate offers, amazon offers, etc. Also, I currently have a D9 solutions hosting server which is roughly 100 annually, plus one registered domain. I was wondering if keeping this service and registering a domain name for my blog would be a good option financially, or if I should buy the hosting directly from the blog's host website alone? Any advice would be great.

You can use different blog hosts on Google.
I'd like to suggest you Tumblr for best blog hosting.

I am a huge fan of trafficplanet hosting. Extremely fast and reliable. However, its priced quite a bit higher than what you currently paying. What blogging software are you using. I would recommend going with a self-hosted wordpress blog on your own domain and hosting.

From your question, I'm guessing you're talking about WordPress.com as a blogging platform. That would be why you're having problems with affiliate links. You should go to WordPress.org and download the free blogging software from there. Then upload your blog to your existing hosting company (D9), using your own domain name - there's no need to use another host for the blog - and you'll be able to include any affiliate links you want.

The OP is talking about hosted blogs, so everyone has just ignored his actual question.

I have had success with boosites.com and Tumblr.com

Really? I've NEVER had an issue with affiliate links on any of my wordpress blogs and I've had LOTS of different types of sites and mixed up links.

I'm not confident on your assessment.

If you take the bare bones wordpress from .org there are no issues.

So I'm left to conclude either there is a wacked out plugin OP is using, a bad theme, or they are trying to host on WP.com some how.

Send me a PM of your site link if you'd like and I'll give you a better run down of how to keep using wordpress and all your links will work brilliantly.

Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT buy a domain from where ever you are hosting.

Bluehost.com has always worked great for me! Super simple with AMAZING customer service if you were to have any questions! I've put all kinds of affiliate links/offers on my wordpress blog without any troubles.

On a side note, I would recommend that you use the free plugin 'Pretty Link' to mask all of your affiliate links…

I hope that helps and good luck!
