INTERNET MARKETING

Hi

I have over 30 years experience in music and as well as playing I thought I might be able to leverage it through a blog and maybe creating some sort of ebook or whatever.

I don't really know where to start with regards to creating a product i.e. what to choose etc.

I've already got a website but it really only covers musicals I've been working on over the last year so it's probably not optimised at all.

Can anyone recommed a good place to start please?

Ask yourself, what's the main thing that your students paid you to learn?

What is the main problem they had?

What is the FIRST thing you would teach students?

See what I've done here?

I've just outlined your first three products.

My advice, is to make your products short and sweet.

There's a long list of reasons why this is wise; chief among them that you don't waste your time developing a product over a span of many years.

Agility and speed are your two advantages. Use them.

To create a product is very easy. Especially if creating an eBook, and by having a website, then that is a boost. You should try creating a email list. Build that list through people who like music. At the same time create your product, that way when it is ready you already have customers ready to buy.

Buy a product that you think has the same goal in mind when it comes to your niche.

Then get some ideas on how to structure things.

From my own point of view, I would actually recommend that you really become an affiliate first to see how things are done in the affiliate marketing world. Don't try to put the cart in front of the horse so to speak.
