Try infranview and its free. I use it all the time. It does a lot for a free program.

Thats a nice way to thank someone for trying to help !! lol

You really are going to have to use a program though arn't you ??!!

If you take a screen shot you dont just want to paste it right into your ebook document, you want to cut out the bit you want to show

For this you will need a program... you could paste your shot into the paint program that is on most pc's ... From there you can resize it or cut out the part you want to show.

Hope that helps, please dont shout at me too lol

Hello....

You can use Microsoft Picture Manger to crop your screenshots according to your choice.

When i do screenshots for my ebooks i create them with hypersnap and then re-size them with microsoft works picture it service. You can pick up both of them for free on the internet though hypersnap is a free trial if you crop the image after the free trial saying buy me the end result is the same without any hard cash leaving your wallet.

Then when you have your image place it in your open office document.

kind regards

Why do people run a business with 'free' as a mindset?

No wonder there are so many people out there struggling.

Do you seriously crop every single picture before publishing?

How much must that be costing you in time and effort?

Sorry, if my post sounded a bit harsh.
But, I was kinda in a hurry.
And sometimes it just goes down the drain.

But, I guess I have to crop the pix somehow.
I'll make some test crops and see.
