Longer or Shorter Swipes/Solo Ads?

INTERNET MARKETING

Does anyone have an opinion about the length of the swipe copy used for Solo Ads? The 4 liners just seem like they are too generic, but I am curious what the group thought.

p.s: I was talking to a guy about buying some ads and he said that he writes all the swipe copy for his list?? is that in any way normal?

Anything you can add will help me

Shorter all the way.

Another problem with long swipes, is that your vendor will be less likely to send long swipes.

So, if you provide a long swipe, your vendor may instead send a generic swipe.

So, what to do, is to write the perfect swipe that's short.

That way, your vendor is actually inclined to send it.

When you buy a solo ad and order 100 unique clicks, for example, your headline will not matter so much.

For your ad copy, shorter is better because again, you are guaranteed a curtain amount of clicks.
