Giving someone access to Analytics?

Is this a bad idea? I have a site for sale on Flippa and a bidder has asked for access. I'm afraid the user will just see what links are doing the best and then try to target that traffic somehow. Is this a valid concern, or is there anything else to worry about?

You can offer screen shots and blur out what you want to hide.

No don't give them access. You can run reports and add them to your listing as far as I'm aware, although haven't used flippa for ages.

Your concerns are valid because there are people out there that would do that but a serious buyer would also want to verify the traffic you claim is real. To add to Jill's recommendation I might go a bit further and do a screen recording as he/she is less likely to belivee that's faked.

Thank you for replies... I wasn't sure if I was being paranoid or not. Regards.

I would do a Teamviewer session and give him segmented access. Not necessarily he can see the backlink profile (that would be more GWT and not GA) via a segmented access. Screenshots can be forged and I would not rely if I was heading for a big transaction!

I would not give access to the analytics. It's just too risky.

You can provide Screenshots or a video tour on your analytics to prove your numbers. A Teamviewer session as aritrim recommended is also a good idea.
