I'm sorry - this is kinda a rant, but at the same time - an alert to those of you who use article spinners. I tested an article spinner a few years ago, one of the first that came out, but for the life of me I can't remember who created it or the name of it. Since then I know there are many out there... I don't use them because I'd rather write original stuff. But... I need to ask those of you who use them...do you ever really READ what you've put out before you go submitting it to sites? If you don't - *please do* because it could be hurting you! In working on approvals for a batch of articles on our site, I saw a few who put pipes ( | ) in their subjects, (obviously blatant keyword attempts like "niche | niche websites | get your niche site" garbage). To make it faster, I decided to do a mini search with the pipe to see just how many were using that in their subjects so I could quickly delete them. (Wayyy too many). BUT... here's what also came up, and I admit, I started laughing out loud - Here's just two examples: (from two different articles) {Hypnosis|Hypnotherapy) {know|understand|realize The worst part? The first one was actually PART of the subject! The second - was blatantly obvious in the article itself. Now I know no one is perfect, but my thought is seriously - if you're going to use these article spinners, WHY on earth would you not double check them?? (And for the record - using a pipe | in an article subject is really not a good thing - it can mess up the databases depending on how they're set up, as most view a pipe symbol to be like a , or tab for spreadsheets columns... databases can view them the same way!) Excuse my rant - I hope that those of you who write your articles using article spinners and submit them to sites, please consider reading them OR reading the original to ensure you've got your *closing* tags properly? (Obviously the two examples I used here, neither closed them properly for the spinner to put the proper wording in). There are others I've seen but I didn't bother posting much about it... but since its starting to happen more often I thought I'd mention it. Amber |

Hi Amber Good advice to users of article spinners. Sometimes it is very obvious an article has been spun. Jim |

For those who use article spinners, here is my spin on the topic. Nothing can replace original content. I am a passionate writer and all of my content is my own. As a result of this, I am gaining trust and followers. I like to think that who I am shows in what I write and this makes them come back for more. Writing can build a bond with you and your reader and it builds trust which builds your reputation. Posting on forums is writing. There is a saying something about the power of the pen being mightier than the power of the sword. Never underestimate the power of your words if thought out and done with passion. I already posted on this same topic on another forum today.

Robin - so true! I love to feature the good articles... unfortunately we delete soooo many more than we approve (I'm behind on 3000 article approvals due to being occupied for the past 2 weeks - it doesn't help things to see so much garbage).
